I cannot put into words how much I loved Club Horror. There is not a IG caption I can write that can express how this gig was career defining for me but here goes…

When it started swirling that HHN was looking for a DJ zone playing “non vocal, scary EDM”…there was no question - I HAD to be apart of this.

In the 2010s I had made a series of mixtapes that blended super heavy EDM and all my favorite horror clips spliced in…I was MADE for this gig.

Playing the scariest, heaviest music possible at an event surrounded by darkness and mayhem. I wanted my set to be like you were being chased in a nightclub by someone you couldn’t see. Constant suspense. Fear.

The freedom musically and creatively was something I couldn’t have ever imagined. To be able to pitch improv bits with Art the Clown to my Leads and create viral moments is something I will forever be grateful for, all culminating in our final bit being watched by the actor who played Art himself 🤯

Not ONE TIME was I told to ‘chill’ with my music and lemme tell you it was HEAVYYY (links coming soon, yes I recorded them 😈). Shoutout to allllllll of my dancers because I know I put you THROUGH IT for those 45 min sets and I am forever grateful for you rocking with me the entire run and never making even the slightest inclination to switch gears. 🙌

I loved every aspect of this gig. The prep, the makeup, watching the HHN machine run from behind the scenes, every. single. thing. I was obsessed with.

Thank you for all the energy, the bracelets, comments, tags, follows, EVERYTHING.

Thank you to my full team backstage. Leads, escorts, makeup artists, costuming, MY SOUND TECH FOR BEING LEGIT INSANE.

BIG THANKS to @djdigital // @electromagicdjs….I am your Labubu 🔌 4L

Immense thanks to @hhnstagram for being the photographer I never asked for but had the entire run 📸

And finally, the biggest thanks goes to wifey, who has had to hear me talk about this gig since Summer with anxiety about what it could be, what if they don’t like me, what if I have to switch my playlist….to then never shutting up cause it’s the greatest gig ever and oh ‘look what I do with Art last night…’
