I dedicate this medal to my mom for beating breast cancer like a boss!Mama, you’re an Iron Lady! #fuckcancer

We spend countless long and lonely hours pounding the pavement. We stick to our schedule religiously and sacrifice a lot to build status as a long-distance runner. When a city that doesn’t stop for anything, stops for a marathon, you know it’s magic! The TCS New York City marathon course is a 42km block party with lots of sneaky hills/ miles of elevation gain. The crowd support had me in tears! Thank you @nycmarathon for putting together one of the best marathons. Time for recovery and eat my way through the US to gain my booty and tits back! 😝 @nycmarathon #nycmarathon2023 #worldmajormarathon #42km taken in New York City by @ddeezle

(8 or 9?) full marathons deep, 5th ⭐️ secured. London, you nearly ended me, but we move. Now one last stop: Boston, the granddaddy of all marathons awaits. My geriatric body is entering its retirement era. @londonmarathon @wmmajors #worldmarathonmajors #enduranceathlete taken in London, United Kingdom by @ddeezle

September 25th, 2022 I Berlin Marathon I 42km:
Ran my first half like someone called me a jogger, I was flying! Both 3:30 and 3.15 pacers were way behind me, thought today is the day I beat my PR of 3:32. And then the wheels came off and I hit the proverbial marathon wall much too early. Goal A: sub-3:30 ❌, Goal B: 3:40❌. Goal C: FINISH B*tch just FINISH!

Overall, it was a beautiful day with a flat course as a pancake. Also loved and cherished the abundance of roaring spectators at this race. More importantly, I got a chance to run with my friends from Minneapolis! Finished 4:12, a minute faster than my slowest marathon! 4th marathon ✅, 1st world major ✅. Just 5 more to go!! Next up: NYC marathon baby!

Ps: Eluid Kipchoge, the G.O.A.T beats his own world record in winning the Berlin Marathon, clocking 2:01:09. INSANITY! taken in Berlin, Germany by @ddeezle

20s: chaos. 30s: consequences. 40s: consciousness with the wisdom lines (wrinkles) to prove it. This version of me could run circles around them both. This is 40: money moves, bigger and bolder goals, and relationships grounded in love and respect, and a life that feels at home in both NZ and NYC. #thisis40 #scorpio taken in New York, New York by @ddeezle
