When I think back to the girl who first arrived in Rindge, NH in 2022, I never could have imagined that she would spend four summers here—dance parties covered in sunscreen and bug spray, dressing up as a bunk inspector, singing at the top of her lungs at 7:30 in the morning, making friends from all over the world, getting pied in the face, jamming out to K-Pop Demon Hunters, and dancing to Hey Baby just to make a camper smile.

What started as just an internship quickly became something much bigger: a home, a community, and a place that has helped me grow into the person I am today.

Over these four summers, I have learned how much strength it takes to lead, how much patience it takes to support others, and how much joy comes from embracing even the smallest moments. Starfish has given me friendships that will last a lifetime people who will always be a part of my story whether we are sitting together by the lake in Rindge or living on completely opposite sides of the globe.

Camp Starfish will forever be a place where I discovered my resilience, my leadership, and my heart. And while it is time for me to sign off, I know this isn’t a goodbye. It’s just goodnight.
