Happy Anniversary to my parents! ❤️

Your love for each other, family, traveling, camping, and simply enjoying life together has always been something special to witness. Through every season, you’ve shown us what commitment, partnership, and building a life together truly look like.

Thank you for raising us with love and structure, teaching us the importance of family, and making sure that no matter where life took us, we remained close. Some of our greatest memories came from the adventures, trips, camping weekends, family gatherings, laughs, and lessons you created along the way.

The years may pass and the destinations may change, but one thing has remained constant: your love for each other and your dedication to this family.

A First Day of School Blessing for My Beautiful Black Daughters

To my beautiful Black girls,

As you walk through the doors of your schools today—one into high school, one into middle school, and one into elementary school—I pray God's hand rests upon each of you.

May the Lord give you wisdom to learn, courage to stand for what is right, and confidence to embrace who He created you to be. May you remember that your beauty shines far beyond your appearance. Your kindness, intelligence, strength, and character are gifts that the world needs.

I pray that God surrounds you with teachers who encourage you, friends who uplift you, and opportunities that help you grow. May He protect you in every hallway, classroom, playground, and bus ride. Let His angels watch over you from the moment you leave home until you safely return.

Never forget that you come from a family that loves you deeply and believes in you completely. Walk with your heads held high, knowing you are wonderfully made, capable of achieving great things, and destined for a purpose greater than you can imagine.

When school feels challenging, may God give you perseverance. When you feel uncertain, may He remind you that you are never alone. When you succeed, may you remain humble and grateful.

My prayer is that you become women of faith, compassion, integrity, and excellence. Let your light shine brightly so others see God's love through you.

Go confidently, dream boldly, learn eagerly, and love generously.

14 Years!

Birthdays are meant to be celebrated and I am grateful that I have the opportunity to celebrate the ones I love. Through every stage of your life I feel as though I am tasked to learn and grow right along with you and truth be told there are plenty of lessons daily! You truly have a special place in my heart and I promise to always be the best Dad I can for you and your sisters.

Tonight was all about my middle daughter stepping into the Sneaker Ball style and grace. 👟✨

And tomorrow… whew, Dad duty hits a little different. One daughter graduates from middle school, and another graduates from elementary school. Time really doesn’t slow down.

I love that I get to create lasting memories for my clients through photos and video, but nothing in this world means more than creating these moments with my own family. Grateful for every laugh, every milestone, every late-night talk, and every memory we’re building together.

Started the night capturing a birthday celebration with an added surprise proposal that had the whole room smiling. 🎉💍

50 years celebrated the right way. 🎉
