Last month, the first dance performance took place in the church: ‘Ayatori’ by @charlottepuco, together with dancers @hinako_con and @annakha.f.

Charlotte encouraged the dancers to unravel their own poetic play and instinctive dance. A thread was their tool to connect the audience and architecture.

The Oud Kerk is designed in 1929 by modernist pioneer J.J.P. Oud. This white church once anchored a bold social housing experiment, designed as the church of the Kiefhoek, a place for (apostolian) gathering, reflection, and choir practice. Soon, we’ll be transforming it into a collective artists space.
