THURSDAY 5/22: RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DEAD CHANNEL TAKEOVER - MIKE TANSELLA JR, CHRIS MITCHELL, MONGER

This installment of @research.n.development will be a @dead_channel takeover featuring friends from across the globe including jr.miketansella @chrismitchellfc and Dead Channel Records head honcho himself @_monger. Not to be missed!

Louisville based Dead Channel Records has garnered quite the cult following over it’s near 5 year run. Rooted in underground electronic music, and known for its limited-edition releases featuring a host of international players, the label’s output has earned significant recognition both in the U.S. and abroad. Cutting edge artists from around world like Bound By Endogamy, Chris Mitchell, Acidic Male, Gavelman, Ole Mic Odd, TX Connect, LostSoundBytes, ccciclo, L/F/D/M, TLXCO, TANS, Keith&Kevin and more have cemented its reputation within the global underground dance community as a pillar of renegade electronics. With a slew of new releases on the horizon, Dead Channel continues reshaping the contours of underground electronic music, pushing the raw limits of rhythm and sound.

Research & Development is a music series focused on nurturing new sounds, experiences and atmospheres while exploring the music and culture it was born or mutated from. While R&D is known for techno, we encourage our guests to indulge in various electronic music genres and beyond.

FAQ warps into an alien system with Decomposition 28. Based in Leipzig, the longtime DJ and former resident at the legendary IfZ, sizzles with this ominous, offworld mix. As one half of Disposable Time (along with Alice in Flames) he has been a linchpin in the Leipzig scene, throwing some serious parties, cohosting a show on Callshop Radio as well as the eponymous mix series of the same name. Prepare to be transported into another dimension for an hour of fuzzed-out alien acid, broken up gutter electronics, and occult wave that fuse together seamlessly in this tenebrous set. Link in bio.

Decomposition 27 hits hard with Alice In Flames. The Leipzig based veteran DJ and DIY organizer hammers Dead Channel with this absolute burner. As one half of @disposable.time (along with FAQ) she has been a mainstay in the Leipzig scene, throwing some serious parties, cohosting a show on Callshop Radio as well as the eponymous mix series of the same name. Submerge yourself for an hour of sinister electro, mutant wave, and experimental electronics that meld together effortlessly in this killer mix. Link in bio

Link in bio! @dead__channel presents the new material from Lifeforms label founder @gavelman_lifeforms. It’s a collection of seven raw acid Electro beasts for the mutants of the underground. 808 and 303 work together in this puddle of acid, scorching all that moves around it. A must-have.
