Ringers on ringers for that extra long California summer. Stories behind the shirts. The Don Juan tee came from Carlos Castaneda’s books on him and the idea that you can begin on one path, encounter something completely unexpected, and end up devoting your life to it. Two people who seemingly had no reason to meet or belong together. The clashing colors and ringer construction came from that same place. Deep Creek Lake was the one nature trip my family made every year growing up. As a kid, it looked like the ocean. Going back now, it looks more like a pond. But back then it was the most beautiful place I could imagine. That became the Driftwood tee. The ringer tees reference old photos of my parents wearing them back in the day – hippies and athletes, ambitious and rebellious, two pretty unconventional people who built a life together. The 34 on the Driftwood tee was my dad’s lacrosse number. A lot of this collection is dedicated to them. by @deadatlantic

Some shots of our most recent collection. All hand made in California and as always, designed with love and consideration. For those paying closer attention , this is technically our second collection.. “chapter 2” I think we’re going to let go of this whole “chapter” concept after this. It’s too rigid and honestly so confusing for even us.. Who cares anyway? We all just want to know that when we are participating in a brand that its the best quality , its made with intention and that the energy put into the project or products was good hearted. Anyone who has experienced our products first hand knows that we are some of the best to do it and the quality Is nearly unmatched. Our story and inspiration goes deeper than just local sourcing and handmade goods of course.. When I was designing this collection and writing the screenplay to accompany its release I was going through what I hope to be one of my life’s greatest challenges. I tried my best to be vulnerable and let that speak through the work. At the end of the day, they are clothes , but I think how we care for ourselves, who and what we support goes beyond “fashion”. We try to always put the same level of care and thoughtfulness into each piece as I do for the food I prepare for my son , or the tone I take with loved ones. It all matters, so does this. So do you. My family 🩶 We took a little break from the socials for last few months to realign the vision of DA and to just spend some time getting present. IG and other platforms are such great tools when used appropriately but sometimes they seem to be an endless trap for creatives. Going to use the tool again but hopefully in a more authentic way. Sharing the truth of dead atlantic and of course, including more of my family in the process. Hope you all are finding time to slow down , and just be present. Answers really seem to rush towards us when we just relax into it huh? Had some time to refine collection and further crystallize the legacy vision. Just dropped some of that new stuff on the site and been cooking on snow gear / kids gear for winter 26/27. Here’s to a summer of slowing down, not taking things too serious and just being here, now. by @deadatlantic
