Something I’ve learned from these photo shoots that you see, is that confidence is key. Confidence is beautiful and admirable. Not just for photographs either. But for life. You must hold your head high. Posture fixed. Confidence shows resilience and strength. Even in the moments you are unsure of. It’s brave to hold your ground.

Shot on Minolta XD-5 #35mm with Peyton. My first individual shoot. Ft. Furry friends 🫶

- Peyton is one of my favorite people that I’ve met. Back when I was I believe 17, I was wrapping up a shift and this group of cool people popped in. Like the curious cat I was I asked about them, my intuition told me they had a sort of creative vibe to them. They told me they were playing in town. Out of Ohio they were Hydrowave was the name of the band. So after my shift I took my little self over there. I met up with them and then I met Peyton. Holding a camera, she asked to take my picture which I of course said yes to and took a picture of me with another friend as well. I of course loved the photos and then we became friends at the punk show. She was my real introduction to photography. A special element to her, and an incredible talent she holds. A real beautiful person she is. by @deadheadroses

A mix of 2 rolls of film. And an honest shortened poem that felt right that I wrote.

Life’s a blur

I fade in and out of reality
Delusions of beauty and surreal memories of freedom
Distinct moments so raw it feels real
Too real

With the sun blurring my eyes , fuzzy warmth fills my irises to melt into a an orange haze.
So pretty it is

No rose colored glasses to be worn anymore.

It’s meant to be appreciated when it’s meant to be, feelings become faint.
