Thank you, Len, for having us on the Lockhart Lowdown this week! We got to talk about why beauty and art are essential to our experience as humans, how live performance brings us together, and… casually mention that we have a show coming up. 😂

How do you visually capture Entre Dos Cielos?

Circus. The live music of Deadman. Mariachi. Texas and Mexico. Two cultures overlapping, influencing each other, and full of nuance.

No small order.

We knew we needed a collage artist. Because how else do you bring all of that together?

And man, did Beatriz Ortiz nail it.

Beatriz is a Cuban photo collage illustrator based in Brazil who describes collage as a superpower: taking overlooked images and transforming them into something new.

That feels exactly right for Entre Dos Cielos, a show built from different sounds, traditions, cultures and art forms coming together to create something all its own.

We’re so proud to have Beatriz’s artwork representing the show.

SH 130’s sponsorship budget was already spoken for. James Lovett found a way to help anyway.

That tells you a lot.

James, VP of Public Affairs for SH 130 Concession Company, has a reputation for showing up for this community, and SH 130 has consistently shown up for Lockhart too.

Entre Dos Cielos is happening because people and organizations like this believe our community deserves big, beautiful live art right here at home.

Now we need you to show up too.

October 9–11, we’re bringing an international cast of circus artists and dancers, live original music by Deadman, and the Lockhart High School Mariachi Corazón de León to the stage right here in Lockhart.

Our sponsors helped us get the show here. Filling those seats is up to all of us.

Buy your tickets. Bring your friends. Bring your family. Come see what we’ve been working so hard to create.

Tickets are in the bio. 🎪❤️ by @deadmanonline

Word is Timothy Chalemet might be at Dolly Night tomorrow night. You heard it here first. 🦃🤠

In other news, Duetts Texas sponsored 10 tickets to Entre Dos Cielos through our Community Invite program, helping more neighbors come see the show. Duetts always shows up for this community. We should be used to their generosity by now, but it still gets us every time.

Come show them some love at tomorrow’s Wednesday Night Steak Night with a tribute to Dolly. We’ll be there, too! by @deadmanonline

We are thrilled to have Jacob Crow:
From the competitive dance stages of New England to the elite halls of Montreal’s National Circus School, Jacob Crow(23) is a multidisciplinary artist who speaks fluently through movement.
Originally hailing from Merrimack, New Hampshire, Jacob's artistic roots began with
Danceworks Movement Design before he ran away to tour the region with the renowned Circus Smirkus. Seeking to push his physical boundaries further, he relocated to Montreal, graduating in 2025 from the prestigious National Circus School with a Major in Handbalance and a Minor in Rope.
Today, Jacob calls Montreal home, where he blends the technical precision of acrobatics with the expressive fluidity of dance, using his craft to articulate what words simply cannot.
