mic rundown with @_carlos.cruz_ behind the kit. LOVED the way this pearl reference kit sounded. i've been recording drums in a small room for years and while having its limitations, it helps you get creative. it's never about the gear or space you have. it's about your ear and your creativity ! also if you're song sucks, then what it matter that you got a good drum sound ? make dope music and use what you got. by @deadstareaudio

yo ! been thinking about doing this for a long time. i've mentioned to a few people before that i'd be willing to trade gear in exchange for studio time or mixes. whether it's a full on trade or a trade with a discounted rate. i understand that sometimes affording the luxury of studio time can be cumbersome (especially in this economy!) i want to support people and help them create their art so i wanted to make this and get this out there to people that might be interested in bartering ! let me know what you got. this isn't limited to what's just here. guitar and bass set ups are always needed as well ! send me a message and let's see if we can work something out ! :)

big ass kick drum today. making some noise with @blastaddictgrind. the snare is the main vocalist of this recording so we gave it a ton of coverage. @beyerdynamic M201, @oktava.usa MK 012 01 and the @trash_talk_audio telephone mic on the top. been loving the @draliensmith on snare bottom lately. Fear Based Life 2 song 7" by @nailstyranny streaming everywhere now. i can remember the day i first heard unsilent death. it was the bible for me and everything i wanted out of aggressive music. who would've ever thought that 16 year later i would not only be in the band but also record and mix a release for them. it's an absolute honor and im forever grateful that todd gave me the opportunity to do something like this. out on my favorite record label @closedcasketactivities. drums cut by my bro @diminishedkm at @steakhousestudio. mastered by the man @townsendmastering. by @deadstareaudio
