Leading Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children to Connect with Jesus Christ.

POSTS STORIES REELS

We asked Jenni "Why was Parent Summit impactful for you?" and "Would you recommend that other families go?" Thank you, Jenni and Alex for joining us last month, we're so excited to see what God does through you in your family. by @deafkidsconnect

What happens when parents of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children come together from all over the country?

New friendships are formed, experiences are shared, and families leave better equipped and encouraged for the road ahead.

Andrea Guettler, our Family Summit Director, reflects on this year’s Parent Summit and what made this weekend so special (besides the amazing weather!). We’re already looking forward to what God has in store for future Family and Parent Summits! by @deafkidsconnect

Last chance to register for our Parent Support Zoom happening TONIGHT at 8PM ET! We'll be discussing extended family expectations, boundaries, ideas for connection building, and more as we gracefully strive to foster strong family bonds.

Register at the link in our bio! by @deafkidsconnect

Rounding out our Parent Summit posts: acknowledgements. Shout out to our Summit Director, Andrea Guettler, for all of her hard work planning and making the weekend happen. Thanks to Jennifer for general support, Kelsey and Victoria for interpreting, and Brittany and Tanya for presenting and generally being awesome. We truly have the best team! by @deafkidsconnect

Thanks @deafharbor for “leading worship” Sunday morning at Parent Summit! It was so cool to see a classic hymn the parents grew up with translated for their whole family to join in. by @deafkidsconnect

Thank you Ryan and Amy for your kind words. That's exactly why we made the Parent Summit and why we continue to do the work that we do every day. God is doing amazing things through you in your family, and we're honored to be here along the way. by @deafkidsconnect

Workshop Highlights! At the Parent Summit, we emphasized that you are Entrusted to Lead and Rooted to Grow in your calling raising Deaf/HH children.

Huge shout outs to Colin Analco, Austin Cary, Brittany Stacey, Tanya Polstra, and the Deaf Camp for investing in us and sharing their wisdom. We appreciate you all! by @deafkidsconnect

We’re just one week away from our next Parent Support Zoom!

As parents, we desire for our children to have deep, meaningful, and thriving relationships with those in our extended family, but often when it comes to Deaf children, the roadmap for how to arrive at that goal is unclear.

Join us as we discuss expectations, boundaries, ideas for connection building, and more as we gracefully strive to foster strong family bonds.

Wednesday, October 21
8:00 PM ET
(Meeting held in English with ASL Interpretation)

We hope to see you there! by @deafkidsconnect

STOMP 1,2,3 - BANG! Brittany adapted this camp game the Deaf way. After the third stomp, you point at someone and if they’re also pointing at you, you’re both out.

Sure, our kids weren’t at the retreat, but that doesn’t stop us from classic camp games. 🤣 by @deafkidsconnect

The 2026 Parent Summit was a success! It was such an amazing weekend for parents to get away for a bit and recharge spiritually to do what God has called them to.

Look for more pics in the upcoming days, we’re so excited to share with you what God did last weekend. by @deafkidsconnect

The Deaf Kids Connect 2026 Parent Summit is here! As families and our team gather together this weekend, we invite you to join us in prayer.

Our team has been praying for and preparing for this weekend for months. Please pray that this will be a special time for these families and that they will leave feeling encouraged, supported, and more deeply connected with one another.

Please also pray for our team, speakers, workshops, conversations, and all of the little details that go into the weekend. Most of all, pray that God will use this time to strengthen and encourage parents as they disciple their children.

To those joining us -- we're so excited to have you!!! by @deafkidsconnect

And with that, the 2026 Virtual 5K has come to a close! Thank you to the people who joined in across the globe to Move, Connect, and Belong, and of course a HUGE thank you to our sponsors, Deaf Missions, Deaf2Deaf Foundation, and Sonshine Interpreting.

Stay tuned for a video with more 5K details and stats in the upcoming weeks!
