We had awesome weather for Jaw today, a good crew and some hard climbing. Fell in love with Chocolate Lily today, hard 12 slab...maybe I have a new project?! ❤️🧗‍♀️ we also had family in town fishing and a few came out for the drop! Last picture is Ben, his dad and Uncles. by @deahuff

Iron Curtain! What a route on the Mendenhall Towers. This was the fourth ascent of the route originally by Jason Nelson and Blake Harrington , 12 pitches, 5.11+. I was able to send the crux roof pitch, that was pretty fun. I partnered with @sometimesdylan (he climbed second ascent) , we had a great day and I am thankful for his encouragement on the route. Another fantastic trip to the towers! There was quite the Juneau crew up there with all this ☀️ by @deahuff

Sent! Svenson Crack (12) and alot of pictures of friends at the fins, Jaw Point. Sending yesterday was awesome, but the journey was the real win. Over two years of training for one climb that I love, I became a different climber, not only in technique, strength and mentally; but through closer friends and ben (Aura and Tes too!) that believed in me and finally believing in myself.

I had some doubt , even this week on climbing , but as soon I clipped the anchor...I thought, so I guess it is time for the next climb ❤️🧗‍♀️❤️

The two climbing videos (7) is yesterday and (8) much earlier in leading Svenson last year, a big difference in calmness and breadth! Last picture is meeting John Svenson two weeks ago in Haines, he first aided this climb and climbed all over Jaw in the 1970's. by @deahuff

A silly poem about the most incredible trip:

The Tatshenshini -Alsek river trip was devine
Should you find yourself able to go, take this as a fabulous sign

For 10 days the sun mostly shown bright
Packrafting, sunbathing, barefoot sand running were such a delight
Evening frolicks, river dips, neon parties and dancing were a silly sight

So many glaciers, a little rain and a lot of ice
We had the best coffee maker in the world so that was nice

12 mostly strangers , became close river friends
This place has my heart and I am sad to see it end ❤️ by @deahuff

Turning 53, sunny Juneau climbing weekend and my family is here! We had a wonderful Jaw point crew and cheesecake. Fished and check pots with the family and made some new fishermen and women out of my niece and nephews. I was even able to show my brother Jeff Jaw Point. We had a bonfire with friends and many kiddos and dogs playing. Thank you to everyone for celebrating solstice, my birthday and Father's day. Pretty special to have one of my brothers and his family visit Alaska for the first time, and my spend fathers day with my dad on this sunny weekend. ❤️ you all! by @deahuff

Jaw season opener never disappoints. We had a grand adventure to the top of jaw man zone: 6 pitches, Stu low key caught a flying 0.75, clouds, sprinks and a little sun. Climbing really is the friends you adventure with and these are two of the best @sometimesdylan @dylanmiller639 ❤️🧗‍♀️

March was snowy, cold and fun! Many ski days and apres ski 🏊🥂 A trip to Taku Harbor with the family, beach fires, big water, fishing and sun! Almost Jaw climbing season 🤣❤️ by @deahuff
