Wondering why your data credits didn't budge after you sent 400 postcards?

That's how DealMachine credits work: three separate balances, each with its own job, and none of them share a pool. Data credits unlock contact data and count toward exporting data from the system. AI credits power AI Chat, so asking it to summarize an owner or compare deals spends those instead. Data credits and AI credits are included with your monthly subscription and reset monthly. Wallet funds operate on a pay-as-you-go basis, and are a balance you spend on direct mail. Running low on one of these leaves the other two untouched.

On the data side, one credit gets you one record. A contact you reveal is a record. A contact in an export is a record, and if you already revealed that person, it isn't counted as a credit when you export it in the same monthly period. Plus, any contact exports automatically include the address without it being another credit. But if you want to export all the property data on one address (mortgage, beds, baths, taxes) it is one record (which makes it 1 credit) for all the property data together.

That math holds whether you're pulling ten addresses or ten thousand.
