The day I was born again. But what does that mean?

It’s been a spiritual journey for me up until this point. I’ve battled many demons over the years but nothing has filled me more with peace, conviction and a sense of truth with purpose than “The Word”.

Being baptised in-front of hundreds of strangers, my family & loved ones was very overwhelming - this public declaration has been brewing inside me for a long time and I’m beyond proud to share it with all. I want to thank everyone for their continued love and support. 🫶

I’m still figuring life out in a world full of lies, chaos and corruption. I’ve never been a man of religion… but I’ve been a man of faith and love, always trying to see the best in people. And now, I choose to follow Jesus Christ, accepting Him as my Lord and Saviour. ✞

The global resurgence of faith we’re seeing is no coincidence. Something’s shifting. Culture is changing. While it took me a decade to unravel my own truth, if you seek it, the evidence across scripture, the Gospels, and historical accounts of Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection is for me, undeniable.

I’m far from perfect. I’m just trying to be a better version of me, turning from sin, walking in truth, and giving my life to something greater than myself. And hey… you might just find me praying for you now and then. God bless ❤️

Running was never part of the life plan 😂

I set myself one goal for July:
Run 10K in under 60 minutes for @nacoauk

I convinced Chloe to join me for the 10k.
We smashed it. 🏅🏅
She apparently decided that wasn’t enough.

Now we are training towards 21.1km.
A half marathon. 😮‍💨
What had I agreed to?!

And then the miles started stacking up…
5K → 10K → 15K → 19K. 👟
200km+ of running over two months.

Sunday 27th September. Folkestone. 🏃‍♂️
No idea what pace I could hold.
Just one job: keep moving forward.

I reckon I had the luckiest bib on the day -
777 🎰 Average pace 5:45/km
I felt great and consistent throughout…

The last few kilometres hurt. 🦿
I hadn’t trained for steep elevations haha
So I kept pushing… and pushing…
and somehow sprinted the last bit

Crossing the finish line and seeing family there
Cheering me on
No better feeling I tell ya 🤍🏁

Getting the medal & almost completing my first Half Marathon in under 2 hours. 💪
Very happy with that.
Sub 2hr incoming 👀

What an inspirational human.
Literally Superwoman. 🦸‍♀️
Does everything for everyone.

2 years ago today we met at Es Vedra after a perfect sunset. Soon after we were dating. Since then we’ve built something beautiful. Long distance has had its challenges, it can be brutal at times, but we make a choice to choose each other every single day. 💛 Love ya @marisa.jae xx by @deancatney

100 runners. 10 kilometres. One cause.

At the weekend, 100 runners joined at the @runthroughuk Olympic Park 10K, all in support of @nacoauk for the vital work they do for children affected by parental alcohol addiction.

@icelandcharity pledged to match all donations up to £25,000, doubling the impact of every contribution. Totalling over £50,000 raised.

To everyone who ran, donated, sponsored, or supported us, thank you. Every step taken helps raise awareness and vital funds for Nacoa, making a real difference to children who need it most.

I personally managed to complete the run in under 60 mins and raise over £1000. Very happy with that 💙

Ducks and Swans 🦆 🦢
Hello everyone, I’m taking on a 10K charity run for @nacoauk (National Association for Children of Alcoholics) on July 11th at Stratford Olympic Park.

As someone new to running, I’m challenging myself to complete the 10K in under 60 minutes with under a month left of training, down from my current time of 1 hour 15 minutes.

I’m asking for donations to help raise at least £100 for this fantastic charity that supports children of alcoholics across the UK. If this goes well, watch out half marathons, full marathons, and even triathlons! I’m coming for ya 💪🏃🏻‍♂️🏅🤣 by @deancatney
