Couldn’t be happier with the way this golf cart turned out! 🔥

Had to add a couple more finishing touches before I officially posted it, and now it’s exactly where I wanted it. From the custom seats and wheels to all the Dean Delivers details, everything came together perfectly.

Big shoutout to @speedandtruck_fl for always coming through and helping bring the vision to life. You guys always show up when I need you!

And a HUGE thank you to everyone who continues to support me, my business, and everything I’m building. Every recommendation, share, like, comment, and referral means more than you know.

“Cheap is not good, & good does not come cheap!”

I remember sitting in my buddy’s office one day talking about pricing, and he said that quote. For some reason, it stuck with me.

The other day I had a situation that reminded me exactly why.

A customer reached out asking for a quote to pick up a sofa in Coral Springs and deliver it up to Palm City. I calculated the time, mileage, and what it would take to do the job the right way. My quote was $600.

She told me she received another quote for $536. I thought to myself — OK, no problem. We’re in the same ballpark. A $64 difference isn’t bad.

The next day, I happened to finish a job near I-75 in Weston, so I reached out and said, “Hey, I’m already close by. If you want, I can get it done today for $500.”

I didn’t hear back.

The following day she reached out and said she had just seen my message and asked if the $500 offer was still available. I explained I was already back in Fort Lauderdale and no longer in that area.

That’s when she told me the company she originally picked rescheduled on her… then when she tried to set it back up, the price changed and went up.

That’s the difference.

Peace of mind has value. Knowing someone is going to show up, communicate, and do exactly what they said they would do is worth that little bit extra.

Now I get the opportunity to show her what Dean Delivers is about — doing the job properly, safely, efficiently, and keeping communication throughout the entire process.

This is also why I believe in being a hands-on owner/operator as the company grows. Before you scale, you have to build an incredible reputation.

Sometimes I might be a little more expensive than the next guy, sometimes I’m not…

But one thing I can promise:

✅ Reliable
✅ Safe
✅ Great communication
✅ Great customer service

And that alone is worth the extra couple dollars.

A Great Trip to St. Augustine

Took a trip up to St. Augustine yesterday and had the pleasure of meeting Bob Lendi.

What a great guy. He had all of his furniture packed, organized, and ready to go before we even arrived. Full of energy and ready to jump in and help every step of the way.

At one point I asked him how old he was, and he replied, “79 years old.”

I couldn’t believe it.

Not only was Bob 79, but he was moving around better than a lot of people half his age. His energy, attitude, and willingness to work were truly impressive. It was a great reminder that taking care of yourself and staying active can make a huge difference as the years go by.

I told him, “When I grow up, I want to be just like you.”

Bob rode with us all the way to St. Augustine and all the way back home. During the trip, I had the opportunity to get to know him, hear some of his stories, and enjoy some really great conversation.

Meeting people like Bob is one of the things I love most about this business. Every move has a story, and every now and then you meet someone who leaves a lasting impression. Bob’s positive attitude, strong work ethic, and incredible health at 79 years old were truly inspiring.

Thank you for trusting Dean Delivers with your move, Bob. It was a pleasure meeting you and spending the day together.

For a while I haven’t really been able to give you guys many updates because business has been nonstop lately. But I like sharing these updates because I want people to see that with hard work, consistency, and the right mindset, anything is possible.

April ended up being a record-breaking month for me, and what makes it even more special in my opinion is that it all came from local moves, Facebook Marketplace sales, deliveries, removals, assemblies, and everyday hustle work. No shortcuts. Just showing up every single day and putting the work in.

Once you create momentum, it really doesn’t stop. You have to be relentless with your approach to your business. The harder you work, the more opportunities show up. One job leads to another, one referral turns into five more, and before you know it, things start moving faster than you ever imagined.

I feel like I’m living my dream life. I’m making the kind of money I used to make back when I was doing things the wrong way over 30 years ago — except now I’m doing it the right way, building something real, helping people, and creating a business I’m proud of.

Best part about it? Nobody tells me what I have to do anymore. I wake up every day motivated to build this on my own terms.

Thank you to everybody who supports, shares posts, refers people, books jobs, and believes in what I’m building. We’re just getting started.

On my way up to St. John’s, Florida for a move a couple weeks ago, I passed a guy on the highway with his truck loaded down… stuff barely hanging on.

Man… it took me right back.

That used to be me.

Truck and trailer packed to the limit, things flying out, pulling over on the side of the road, stressing out… rain pouring, everything going wrong at once. Felt like every day was a new problem.

But that’s part of it.

You don’t get to where you’re at now without going through that phase.

So now when I see someone out there grinding like that, it just reminds me how far I’ve come… and makes me appreciate it that much more.

Stay down through the struggle — it pays off.

Another solid move in the books 💪

Had the pleasure of helping a friend and client make the move this past weekend—got @alli_tailing and the family all the way up to St. John’s, Florida, right along the St. John’s River. About 10 minutes south of Jacksonville and honestly… beautiful area.

Moves like this are what it’s all about. Not just getting the job done, but helping people start a new chapter the right way—smooth, stress-free, and done right the first time.
