Today you woke up. Upon waking up, you took a conscious breath. You may have laid in bed for a bit, but you get up at some point.

In the space between getting out of bed for the day and returning to your bed for the night, you might find at a minimum, you can find a pocket of at least 5 minutes to move your body.

This isn’t exercise. This is play for your soul. Play for your mental health. Play for your inner child that craves to be expressed. Movement doesn’t have to be this strict chore that you have to do to look a certain way. Movement is the ability to engage with the most wonderful gift you have ever been given: Your body.

If you've ever taken a class with me, first of all thank you for trusting me with your movement and health. Second of all, you most likely know I love to bring in I intuitive movement into my classes at some point because movement is beyond rigidity. It's anatomical but also beyond strict anatomy lessons. It's building trust that you have the wisdom to guide your body. I've been working on building trust for myself again and this practice has been the most grounding and expanding element to repairing my relationship with myself. Where would I be without yoga? Probably yelling at some kid on Xbox. Movement transforms, has it changed you?

There’s something special about working the land, interacting with the cattle, and watching them thrive. It’s work, but it’s also something I genuinely enjoy.
I take pride in giving them good land to graze, taking care of what’s been entrusted to me, and continuing a family farming legacy that goes back over 100 years.
This is ranch life. Hard work, responsibility, a little fun, and a whole lot of pride. 🌾🐂

Turns out the lie detector test said that was a big fat lie.

I’m doing a challenge with an incredible group of people to post everyday for 21 days and it’s completely humbled me.

I’m learning to have to meet my ego as a creator. It’s different than the ego I have offline. I’ve spent a lot of time taming that, but online? I’m having to sit with all the insecurities my online self built throughout all these years of creating content. (I’ve been a content creator since 2012 and this is the first account of mine that hasn’t had over 100,000 followers).

Im also learning that likes don’t pay bills. Likes don’t determine how much of an impact you made. They are simply just an ego boost. I’m having to remind myself that I’m not creating on here to be liked, I am creating to make an impact and hopefully make some real money for my family. ❤️🙏🏾

Just post the damn post. If it flops, you learn. People don’t care. They are too busy moving on to the next post.
