Just a great day to pedal, contemplate, and enjoy the desert's beauty. by @deanhenthorn

Fun stuff I find at the driving range. This ball was made in 1970! It has survived 56 years and is still in great shape. I personally think Nancy Lopez put women's golf on the map. What a stud. What a find!

The longest MTB ride I ever did was the Flagstaff to Grand Canyon ride. It was a great time with like 175 other nut jobs, suffering. by @deanhenthorn

It tough to see in this, but its pure natural chaos. I shot a lot of pictures and this one of my bird feeder reminded me of what makes photography so cool to me.

A photograph is just one split second - 1/8000 actually, in all of time. Think about that. Mind blown. In this split second, looking in this one sliver of the universe in this direction, I captured this. Nature doing what it does daily to survive. (With a bird feeder help) but its chaos. One bird dive bombing from the top, the other coming in for a landing, while two others are enjoying their nice perch. So much going on, and then, its gone, never to be duplicated again.

This is that picture - that just reminded me of how miniscule everything is on this planet and what lies right in front of us, in our yards, that is so cool if you stop and look.

Its been probably 10 years since I swung a racket. A complete shoulder rebuild and rehab, Lots of pickleball in-between, and let me tell you, its harder than I remember to pick it back up. Had a blast playing with my son for his first time. And the strings didnt break! Thanks Wolfgang Oswald for the racket. 😀 by @deanhenthorn

I recently posted about the relief we can get by finding some quiet, twisty road and getting away from the people, the social media, the voices in your head.

Today is no different in the goal. Today I used another form of getting clarity. My bicycle. I have yet to find anything that improves my ability to solve problems or create healthy brain chemicals as riding my bike. Answers you are looking for come to you when you can calm the mind.

I guarantee it 💯%. It may not be a bike or a motorcycle. It may be a walk or a hike. But it needs quiet. Give that brain of yours a chance to slow down, regroup. Give your lungs a chance to breath good air.

Im not here to get you to follow me. Im here to motivate you to get active, to clear your mind so you know it's going to be alright. You will find answers and if you're open, you see mother nature all around.
Peace

When life seems to overwhelm, tire you out from battling the people, the ads, the little voice inside your head, go for a ride. It doesn't have to be a huge all-day event. Just pick somewhere with few people, a great view and a twisty road.

Then stop and breath. Look at your surroundings, maybe even say a prayer or say thank you. Repeat every day if you can. Peace.
