I've shown you Studio Four. I haven't shown you what it took.

An empty shell, an idea in my head, and a talented group of people who helped bring it to life.

From the arches and plasterwork to the limewash, microcement and all the little details in between, this space has been a labour of love.

Every curve, texture and imperfection was considered, not just for how it would look, but for how it would feel. Some decisions were practical, others were simply guided by instinct.

It took longer than expected, challenged me in ways I hadn't anticipated, and pushed me further creatively than I'd been before.

But there's something incredibly fulfilling about watching an idea evolve into something even more beautiful than you imagined.

I'm immensely proud of what we've created.

And I'd do it all again.

Welcome to Studio Four 🙏🏿

@quest_studios

12 months of renovation.
For me and the space.
A few reminders from the journey:

Keep raising the bar.
Maintain high standards.
Never give up.
Feel the fear and do it regardless.
Take your ideas seriously.
Create from your dreams.
Don't chase business.
Create value.
Attract.
Be positive.
Assume things work in your favour.
Take your time.
Find meaning in your advertisity.
Learn yourself.
Lean into your quirks.
Stand firm on your vision.
But don't control.
Let life breathe into you.
Flow.
Trust your gut.
Exhale.
Be attentive.
Feel.
Have grit.
Work hard.
Execute.
Keep growing.
Stay inspired. by @deanmullings

Rest in perfect paradise, my beautiful and special Mum ❤️

My Mum was a lover, she did not have the tools to fight and so cancer unfortunately took her quickly and young. But watching the way she would communicate and interact with the doctors/nurses day by day or even after receiving devastating news, reminded me that to the final second of her life, love was of most importance to her soul.

This is what Mum was about, she made strangers feel loved and the lost feel like they belong. She had a warmth that left you optimistic, positive, wanting to do better without feeling judged and wanting to love more because she had enough love to give and never be short of it herself. Mum taught us that love and kindness is a duty and a pleasure to give and that it is the solution more often than not. Love was her offering, love was her medicine, love was her recipe and love was her teacher and she never expected anything in return.

Even though you are no longer here in the physical form and I can't hold you or be held by you as much as I want to be, you are still very much alive and here in my heart. I can still feel you and hear your advice and that is keeping me positive and strong when I have moments of weakness. You always used to say “listen to your heart”, now I listen to my heart to hear what you say.

I miss your positive affirmations, your endless belief and support in me and Ryan, how easily you laughed, how much you cared, how much of a unit you and Dad were. I could describe the pain in great detail but it always ends with feelings of gratitude. Gratitude for having your beautiful energy as a force in my life, our many special family memories together, our spiritual connection and the many lessons you taught. I'm just grateful to have had you as my Mum.

Love you now and forever Ma, we will honour you 🙏🏿❤️❤️❤️ by @deanmullings

Welcome to QUEST Studios Daylight Cove!

For the last 12 months whilst running and managing studio one I’ve been renovating a second studio space from scratch to add to the @quest_studios family and I can say that in hindsight it has been the most transformative 12 months of my life. The studio includes an infinity cove, changing room, two makeup stations, a hair wash basin, three phase power, an equipment hire store within the studio and so on. Every inch and detail of this studio was built to my plans, designs and manifestations. Our slogan at QUEST Studios is “Think big, create big” and so I wanted to hold myself accountable and make sure that at QUEST this isn’t just a slogan but a lifestyle and mindset we’re married to.

With all that being said, I would like to proudly introduce you all to #QUESTStudios “Daylight Cove” or “Studio Two” if you can’t be asked lol.

The studio will officially be open and ready for action on October 1st and so of course there’s no better way to start than with a pre-launch sale. 20% off Studio Two using discount code “DAYLIGHTCOVE” at checkout (offer ends October 1st).

Love and peace 🙏🏿

Throughout this process I have felt every emotion imaginable, the highs and the lows and so I soon understood that for life to be beautiful we have to accept the good and the bad as being beautiful and with that came a trust and calmness that things would work out how they were supposed to. I just had to stay on my path and in my purpose.

As the space was being renovated, I realised that I was renovating myself too. Time to forgive, time to let go, time to reach my full potential. Along the way I learned that any set back or frustration was not there in vain but instead, it was to be learned from so that I could learn the lesson I needed to elevate to the level that was patiently waiting for me. Everything really is our teacher. And that story we tell ourselves daily is very powerful as it’ll paint your physical reality so do your best to make it kind and beautiful. Your mind can be your best friend if you train it to be and consciously tell it beautiful things about yourself as it's an excellent servant but can be a terrible master.
