💙 A cause close to his heart:
After experiencing the heartbreak of losing two premature babies, Dean and Sarah Mumm founded the Borne Foundation (now BorneHMRI) to fund critical research into premature birth.

Their mission: to give every baby the best start in life.

Dean isn't just a rugby legend - he's a passionate advocate turning personal tragedy into hope for thousands of families.

Today is a #dayinunion Its an opportunity to recognise the Rugby community and what it has given to many. This includes the opportunity to play with my Dad and brother a few years ago. We go again next weekend with my old man this time at the ripe age of 70. by @deanmumm

Preterm birth is one of the most fatal causes of infant death worldwide.

BorneHMRI’s medical research is vital to help reduce this devastating problem and reduce the impact on millions of families every year.

In two weeks, I’m crossing Costa Rica the hard way to raise funds for vital pre-term birth research for BorneHMRI. The BourneHMRI Coast Rica Coast2Coast Challenge will take me 275km in 6 days, cycling, rafting and trekking through the jungle.
