Pumpkin patches we went to….Shaw, Blooms and Berries, Burger and back one last time (the day before Halloween) to take a hayride at Shaw.
All had their pluses but Shaw Farm wins for us! We love their hay rides. They last so long. And since the farm was closing for fall, truly the last hayride there, I picked up mums and they were so beautiful and inexpensive.
I know we have more autumn left.
But I’m just not ready to put out the Christmas decor.
So I’ll eat the last of the Halloween candy and enjoy the fading colors outside.
Happy November all! by @deanna.eppers

Happy Halloween. No tricks. Just yummy treats!! Hope. Yours was great! by @deanna.eppers

October so far. From the fields of Wisconsin to the creek behind our house to the cabin in Kentucky. Autumn colors should peak in two weeks! by @deanna.eppers

When your husband’s friends find some interesting photos from college and right after.
We were young, having fun and I have to say these guys are wonderful people. Still. And they all married wonderful women.

For my first walk since starting pt I decided to walk the bike trail. Iykyk. But the leaves are just drying up and falling and covering up the mile markers, so I wasn’t sure where they were. I intended to walk one mile. One!
Well, I missed 43.5 entirely. Went to 43 thinking I was walking the slowest half mile ever. I’m home now. Two miles and some change and I am feeling my age.
Now I understand how my baseline of 3 miles is a thing of the past.
They should tell us these things! 😂
Time to do nothing. by @deanna.eppers

Our time in Milwaukee was fun. We drove by each place we lived, and our time in Wauwatosa was special. All the fun neighbors, parties, and just being a neighborhood together. That’s our street….67th. by @deanna.eppers

We’re staying at the Pfister hotel in downtown Milwaukee, and the lobby is always busy, but our floor is as silent as the grave.
We’ve never seen anyone else on our floor. Ever. And we’ve been here two days already. Weird, right? by @deanna.eppers

What a game! During the game we yelled, “Go Pack GO” and on the way out I heard “Bears Still Suck”. Green Bay at its finest! by @deanna.eppers

Goodbye Kohler and hello Lambeau Field! We found a cute apple orchard on the way up. Go Pack Go! Then down to Milwaukee. And the weather here? 80 degrees! Simply beautiful. by @deanna.eppers

But the best part of being here was seeing our dear friends from Falls. The second best? Seeing Lake Michigan in all her beauty. Can we name it Lake Wisconsin? by @deanna.eppers

We made it! David said he wasn’t sure this trip would really happen until I woke up this morning, but here we are in….Wisconsin!
We stopped in Milwaukee for Kopp’s frozen custard, then flew past such a pretty countryside to finally stay at the American Club. I’ve always wanted to since I first saw where David lived….in Sheboygan Falls.
I love this place. They have such beautiful skylights. And the shower room and bath are beautiful. If I told you where I spent most of my time, you would howl with laughter. Think Kohler. Then think a bit more. If you’re right, I will tell you what was the best part.
We go to Green Bay this weekend.
And then to where we used to live. Sigh. by @deanna.eppers

Faith is the best photographer in the family, and she shared these with me.
This was as perfect a day as one could hope to imagine. And I’m so glad we were all together. (We were missing David and Ryan, but there’s always next week.)
The sky was so blue. No clouds. And I think I’ll remember this one for a very long time. ❤️ by @deanna.eppers
