Dean is back tonight hosting SING STUD: The ultimate blokeoke tonight, and it’s set to go off!

We are back to the standard set up, what will you sing?

Gather ye of leather and fur,
of lycra, denim, chaps and spurs,
to a place where men were born this way,
where karaoke meets the gay.

Where heart-felt ballads reign supreme,
and disco hits are sung by queens,
of course, the vibe is always blokey,
sometimes there’s even stripper-oke.

So if exhibition’s in your blood,
or voyeurism - come support a bud,
the beer is cheap, the men are too,
so come along, sing a tune or two.

We are so close to beating our $10,000 @giveoutday_au target thanks to all the amazing people out there.

You can still donate up until midnight to support Proud 2 Play’s individual support service for LGBTQIA+ folks facing discrimination.

When our trans folks face discrimination or invasive questions about their ability to participate in sport, we will turn up to meetings to be in their corner.

When a parent is navigating their non-binary child’s ability to participate with gendered competitions? We get on the phone or a video chat and help.

When someone is facing harassment and their club dismisses their concern? We will help with translating policy and legal requirements and connect them with services to help.

This work is not funded by any grant. We do it because we should, and we’re the only LGBTQIA+ sporting body that does this individual support.

It’s not fancy, it’s not fun. It’s the hard yards and often the emotionally taxing work that has to be done.
