I feel like all of these things are no brainer since it’s all over my page but you know sometimes I have to remind people hahaha

reading update: it’s safe to say, I’m out out of my reading slump and I’m so happy!! I already read 3 books for October and we are only one week in so I’m here to confirm my slump has gone away and I’m so excited to get into my fall tbr (which I haven’t make but I’m a mood reader so there’s no point) I know for a fact I will be doing a SOTR reread to prepped for the movie and I’m ready to get my heart broken once again 😵‍💫

I can’t wait for this weekend as I will be going to a nightmare before christmas theme pumpkin patch (fall festivities commence!!)

happy wednesday babes 🍂💫🧡

i finally finished my september recap and honestly I’m happy that it didn’t take me that long to do because sometimes i do make my recap late 😅

it was a slow reading month and I’m embracing my slow paced reading at the moment because if i start stressing about it, my reading slump will get worse. On a good note, I already finished two books in october 😝we are so back!!

with spooky season upon us, I finally have a decision on what my costume will be 😝 I WILL BE STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE because of my hair kekeke

I will be visiting a nightmare before christmas pumpkin patch theme this weekend and I’m so excited (I LOVE FALL SM)

i will celebrate my small wins especially being able to finish three books during my book slump 🧡

happy monday babes 💟💫✨🍂

i have hit my 2 year anniversary here on booksta!! (we are going to pretend i posted this on time because my anniversary was at the end of september hehe)

this place has been one of my favorite place and has brought me so much joy and comfort that starting my account was one of the best decisions I have made.

forming connections and friendships because of booksta are one of my favorite things that has happened these past two years. being able to meet people and yap about books brings me happiness and i would never take that for granted. i was even able to meet people that has the same interest other than books (fellow bts besties)

nonetheless, this place has brought me a lot of joy and comfort and I’m always grateful for it. Here’s to many more years 💟🧡💫✨

to start this week off, here are a couple of outfits i will be wearing this fall pairing some of my favorite books to read in the fall time!

i still have my summer recap post coming (maybe bts summer recap as well - still undetermined) so bear with me 😅

reading update: i started the poppy war trilogy on audiobook and I’m enjoying it so far (scared it will destroy me 😭) i am embracing the speed of my reading because if I continue to stress about it, my slump will get worse.

spooky season is this week and i just want to know how time is going by so fast 😭 also it’s still hot here in florida even though october is coming (stop using AI people)

reading update: I finally finished “the mime order” which is my first read book of September. It has been a slow reading month but I’m not too stressed about it because if I do my slump would get worse 😀

i hope everyone are having a great september so far!! i know this recap may have been a little late but so much was going in my life that my brain went on overdrive 😅

i’m so happy that september is here because i’m tired of this florida weather — I need the cold weather to come ASAP

august was stressful to say the least, so I didn’t do anything that much 😅 she was not a nice month to me

life got so serious, I decided that I wanted to go see my shaylas again and that made me feel a little bit better 💟

here is just a little photo dump of things that’s been making me happy because a girl just need a pick me up for whatever is in the air this month… been through the trenches yall

I’m also shocked that August is almost over because I swear it just started. My reading this month has improved so safe to say I’m off the book slump and I’m currently reading The Mime Order & Immortal Rose 😗 so far so great, no complaints!

I’m also having car issues so there’s that like I’m just a girl and can I just have a week where I have nothing to be stress over other than not having enough time to read like please (my sleep schedule has been messed up lately like I cannot sleep for the life of me)

Anyways enough of that… fingers cross that next week will be a lot better 🥹

The bittersweet feeling of saying goodbye to Ophelia and Alex… We all know how much the end of Nighshade was heartbreaking and Daybreak healed that pain 🥹

This book still gave us that gothic & dark academia vibes that we were introduce with in Nightshade and I felt like I was coming home to once I started Daybreak.
As always, this book was filled with mystery, angst, and the YEARNING from Alex was perfection.

Without any spoilers, the character growth for both Alex and Ophelia was my favorite part as we get to see Ophelia finally found her place in the world where she once thought she didn’t fit in and Alex’s mental health journey and how it was explored a little bit more in this book.

The mystery, angst, and the YEARNING that Mr. Alex gave had me on my knees.. Everything about this book gave me all of the closure I need for this duology and I DON’T WANT TO LEAVE THEM 🥹

I hope everyone is having a great August so far <3 mine has been slightly a bit rough as this past couple of weeks has not been so nice to me but I’m hoping this new week is going to be at least less stressful 😩

To start my week on a good note, here are couple of few things that’s been putting a smile on my face lately. I always try to romanticize and enjoy all the things in my life even if it’s small because sometimes you just need a little bit of whimsy but it’s also okay to have bad days <3 this month has just been testing me but we will be okay.
