As Yom Kippur approaches, I don’t want to offer a simple, automatic “I’m sorry.”

I want to ask forgiveness for the moments when my pain spoke louder than my heart…
when I reacted instead of listening,
when I judged what I did not fully understand,
when I was absent, impatient, or careless with someone else’s feelings.

If I hurt you knowingly or without ever realizing it please forgive me.

And if you have hurt me, I am asking Hashem to help me release what my heart was never meant to carry forever.

None of us entered this year perfect. We were human beings trying to love, survive, grow, and find our way sometimes beautifully, and sometimes imperfectly.

May we enter Yom Kippur not only asking to be forgiven, but becoming more forgiving.
Not only praying for a better year, but choosing to become better people.

Softer without becoming weaker.
Wiser without becoming harder.

More careful with our words, more generous in our judgment, and more courageous in our love.

May Hashem see beyond our mistakes to the deepest truth of who we are and who we are still trying to become.

May every sincere apology open a door.
May every act of forgiveness release a burden.
May every broken place become an opening for greater light.

What light will I bring into it?

WOMEN STAND WITH PINK 💗

P!nk spoke out when silence would have been easier. Now women of courage stand with her.

As mothers, just like all of us, we want a better future—one built on safety, dignity, and peace, not on the hate and resentment expressed through antisemitism.

We can grieve every innocent life lost while still acknowledging the October 7 attacks, the hostages, the sexual violence, and the suffering of the Jewish people.

Compassion is not antisemitism.
Propaganda is not peace.
Silencing Jews is not justice.

Choose life over terror.
Truth over manipulation.
Peace over hate.

The rain tried to interrupt a fishing party. An exceptional teacher turned it into an unforgettable life lesson. 🎣

Today, Eric Fromme led Moshe Natan’s birthday fishing experience—and I witnessed something truly special.

When the rain forced everyone indoors, Eric didn’t lose the children’s attention for a second. He had the boys completely mesmerized as he shared practical knowledge, survival skills and real-life experiences. What could have been a disappointing interruption became another opportunity to teach, connect and inspire.

Some educators teach a skill. Exceptional educators reach the child—and Eric is one of those rare people.

His patience, compassion and natural ability to connect transform every activity into a lesson in confidence, discipline, responsibility and respect.

If you need a reality check today, go look at what is happening in Nepal right now.

Seriously.

A glacier and part of a mountain literally break apart, and within minutes ice, rocks, mud and water are tearing through everything in their way. People are searching for their families. Bodies are being recovered. People are still missing.

And it just makes you think…

WTF are we all so busy fighting about?

Who didn’t call us. Who offended us. Who has more. Who has less. Who invited who. Who said what. What didn’t go exactly the way we wanted today.

Meanwhile someone right now would give EVERYTHING to go back to the boring normal morning they had before their entire reality changed.

That is the wake-up call.

We walk around like tomorrow is somehow part of the contract.

It’s not.

Life can literally change in a moment.

So maybe stop fighting with the person you love over stupid shit.

Call your mother. Hug your kids. Appreciate your husband or wife. Check on your friend. Give something to someone. Say thank you to Hashem for your house, your bed, your food, your annoying family 😂 and the completely NORMAL problems you are lucky enough to have today.

Because normal is a blessing we usually only recognize when it’s gone.

Watching what these people are going through right now really shook me.

May Hashem protect them, bring the missing home, give strength to the rescuers and comfort every family experiencing the unimaginable.

And may the rest of us WAKE UP.

Stop taking this life for granted.

We have NOW.
