It’s finally official. EVERYTHING is for sale here at the shop now. If it turns out you need a couch, an industrial refrigerator, checkout counter, etc - guess what, we got you! All you need to do is DM this account with what you’d like (I can also send dimensions and more photos) and we’ll make it happen. 🛍️

We also have smaller things like shopping baskets, folding chairs, ice buckets, etc. that are for sale. If interested, just reach out!

Hi dear friends!

With full, heavy hearts, we want to share that we will not be renewing our lease for Dear Dry Drinkery and our last day of business will be Sunday, June 22.

As a small, self-funded shop, it has become increasingly challenging to compete with larger retailers, especially in the face of rising prices and an uncertain economy. When we opened our doors, our goal was to help grow awareness of non-alcoholic beverage options in Austin—and with your support, we truly feel we’ve accomplished that. What we didn’t expect was how deeply this space would enrich our souls in ways we never knew were possible. Your visits, stories, and shared connection have meant everything to us.

To celebrate these past two incredible years, we’re hosting one final FREE “house party” event on June 7! We’ll have great NA drinks, snacks, and the kind of joy that’s defined our community from the start. We hope to see you there!

In the coming weeks, we’ll also be selling off not just our remaining product inventory, but furniture, shelving, etc.! More to come on that.

@above_app isn’t just a dating app - it’s a connection app. When I was first getting sober, my social life is definitely what I mourned the most. What would I do?? I’m an extrovert - I recharge with other people. Going out for (many) drinks with friends was my favorite thing in the world: and now that was all over.

That’s why I do what I do. I wanted to curate experiences for those connections without the alcohol. But not everyone lives in a city like Austin where there are events literally every day. Enter @above_app. You can find your people and build those experiences where ever you’re based, all without substances.

Yesterday’s Dry Derby Darty was so so fun. Thank you @ritualzeroproof for the NA whiskey to make fabulous mint juleps without the hangover. Being with other sober people during traditional drinking occasions is one of my favorite things to do. Because the connection doesn’t need to end because the alcohol did!
