The girls have spoken. They have taken a stand.
Now, it’s our turn to listen and act!

No girl should have her future decided by child marriage. Every girl deserves the right to grow, learn, dream, and choose her own path.

This International Day of the Girl Child and we stand with the girls.

End Child Marriage. Invest in Girls’ Futures! by @dearfem_me

14 campuses, 4 geopolitical zones, 24 unstoppable voices!🚀

Meet the ambassadors bringing the energy, the vision, and the mission to life.

These 24 leaders are stepping up to champion female leadership, promote campus safety, foster informed conversations around Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), and build communities where every young woman feels seen, heard, and empowered.

The future of leadership is already here, and she’s on campus. 🌸 by @dearfem_me

Girls go through a lot, and in trying to fulfill their visions, there’s often so much standing in their way; whether it’s societal expectations, gender inequality, or the lack of opportunities.

But today, on International Girl Child Day, we give them a platform to share their dreams, their challenges, and what they envision for the future. Despite the barriers, these girls are determined to rise, to push beyond limitations, and to create a world where they can thrive.

Their visions are powerful. Let’s listen, support, and stand with them as they pursue their dreams.

A girl being emotional does not make her less capable of leading.

Leadership requires empathy, courage, critical thinking, communication and the ability to make decisions. None of these qualities belongs to one gender.

Girls are allowed to feel. Girls are allowed to disagree. Girls are allowed to speak firmly. Girls are allowed to lead.

Emotions do not cancel competence. Having feelings does not make someone incapable of making sound decisions.

This neee week, let’s question the stereotypes we have normalised and stop teaching girls to shrink themselves to appear acceptable.

Dear Fem’Me believes in a world where merit, not gender, paves the path to success.

What is one stereotype about girls you’ve heard growing up that needs to end? by @dearfem_me

The year is running, so should you!

Don’t let the remaining weeks pass without taking a step towards something meaningful.

Whatever you started, whatever you postponed, whatever you’ve been afraid to try, this is your reminder to keep moving.

Here’s to a November filled with growth, courage, purpose, and new possibilities.

Happy New Month from all of us at Dear Fem’Me! 🌸 by @dearfem_me

Is a woman’s ambition a threat to her chances of finding love, or is this another expectation girls need to unlearn?

“Don’t be too ambitious. Nobody will marry you.”

How many times have girls heard this while growing up? How often are we taught to question our dreams because we might become “too much” for someone to love?

This Friday on Fem’Me Friday, we’re unpacking the things we hear growing up and questioning the beliefs we’ve been taught to carry.

Come with your thoughts. Let’s have an honest conversation. by @dearfem_me

A good salary should never cost you your dignity!!!🩷

Behind the promising career, the monthly pay and the job you’ve worked so hard to secure, there might be an uncomfortable reality nobody sees.

Workplace harassment can leave you feeling trapped between financial security and your personal well-being. Speaking up might feel risky.

You deserve to work in an environment where you feel safe, respected and valued, without unwanted advances, inappropriate comments or fear of retaliation.

So, should anyone have to choose between their livelihood and their dignity?

NO. NEVER. 🩷 by @dearfem_me

A girl’s childhood should be filled with dreams, not decisions she is too young to make💗

Today, on International Day of the Girl Child, Dear Fem’Me stands with every girl whose voice deserves to be heard, whose rights deserve to be protected, and whose future deserves to remain hers to shape.

Child marriage steals choices. It interrupts education, threatens well-being, and robs girls of the freedom to decide what their future looks like.

Our message is clear: END CHILD MARRIAGE. INVEST IN GIRLS’ RIGHTS.

Every girl deserves the chance to learn, grow, speak up, lead, and live free from harmful practices. Her future should be shaped by her dreams, not determined by her gender or age.

At Dear Fem’Me, we believe in a world where merit, not gender, paves the path to success.

True independence is only complete when every girl and woman has the freedom to dream, lead, and succeed without systemic barriers. 🇳🇬✨

Today, as we celebrate Nigeria’s independence, we recommit to building a nation defined by equity, inclusion, and opportunity. A Nigeria where merit, not gender determines how far a woman can rise.

Here’s to a freer, fairer, and more equal future for every Nigerian girl and woman.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria! 💚🤍💚 by @dearfem_me

This week, you might be one step closer to saving someone from an abusive relationship.

Keep these in mind when a friend needs a safe place to turn….🤗 by @dearfem_me

NORTH CENTRAL + NORTH WEST, WE ARE HERE FOR YOU📍

The goal remains the same: to build safer campuses where girls have the knowledge, support and space to speak, learn, grow and thrive.

Today, we’re unveiling three of our campuses across the North Central and North West.

This is part of our growing presence across 13 campuses in 4 geopolitical zones, bringing Dear Fem’Me closer to more girls, one campus at a time.

From the South to the North, we’re building safer spaces for girls to feel seen, heard and supported and with this, all 4 geopolitical zones have officially been unveiled.

If you experience any of these this week, breathe. You’re completely normal, and there’s nothing weird or shameful about being a girl.

Our bodies change, out moods change, out cycles change and sometimes, we experience things we were never taught to talk about.

Dear Fem’Me is here to make those conversations easier, because knowing your body should never be a source of shame. 💗

Happy new week Dear Fem’Me, what would you add to the list? by @dearfem_me
