A day in Guernsey 🇬🇬✨

We visited Hauteville House, the incredible home (and gardens!) where Victor Hugo lived during his exile of 15 years! ⚓️ It’s also where he finished the writing of “Les Misérables”.

Just down the street, we stumbled upon a charming Victorian Shop & Parlour ; lovingly restored by @nationaltrustofguernsey 🤍 And guess what? Hugo himself used to pop in from time to time!

Finished the day with an egg truffle sandwich at a local pub and a stroll through the lovely old town 🙌🏻 taken in Guernsey, Channel Islands by @dearlymaelle
