RDH Wellness Event ✨🧘🏽‍♀️
What a fun and refreshing event to attend! I knew it was going to be something special when I saw it was hosted by @mouthboxx & @dearrdhnewgrad 💕
It was the perfect day to slow down, relax and destress with light yoga, meditation and an art session. It was all thoughtfully curated for Dental Hygienists, by Dental Hygienists.
Such a unique experience, but honestly, one of the best parts was meeting new people, sharing stories, laughing and connecting 🦷✨

I had the best time and left feeling recharged, inspired and so grateful for this amazing RDH community. 🤍 taken in Toronto, Ontario by @dearrdhnewgrad

Movement, Mobility & Nervous System Care for Dental Hygienists

Through yoga-inspired and somatic movement, participants will address common areas of tension including the neck, shoulders, upper back, wrists and forearms, hips, and low back.

Brief education will be woven throughout the practice to explore why particular movements and practices are being used, what to notice in the body, and how these tools can support comfort, body awareness, self-regulation, and career longevity.

Wellness of the RDH is coming soon and we are delighted to have @a.i.azucena as a leader and speaker for the workshop:

A Two-Part Sensory + Creative Wellness Experience

A grounding holistic arts experience honouring the hands, voices and energy we use every day to care for others.

The experience begins with sensory play, using essential oils and nourishing body butters to explore scent, touch and the simple ritual of caring for our bodies. Through music, breath, affirmation and intentional reflection, guests are invited to slow down, reconnect with their senses, and tap into who they are and who they are becoming.

In the second part, each guest will creatively personalize the cover of their own Caregiver’s Pocket Journal: a take-home space for affirmations, reflection, doodling and visual expression, with intentional prompts and imagery inspired by nature to encourage continued moments of grounding and self-care.
Because the hands that care for others deserve to be cared for, too.

Have you signed up as yet? Only a few seats remain.
Don’t miss out. DM or see link in bio for tickets.
