I'm Summer(they/she). I started this account to document my art and little interests for myself to look back on, with no intentions of anyone ever seeing it. I was 23, now I am 27, pivoting to sell my art and make my silly little content my life. I may get a little weird with it too who knows. Still keeping the ethos of following what I am interested in, and documenting this process for myself to look back on later. Choose kindness, or get lost. We are all floating on a rock in space. Progress of my skull and flower still life with wax pencils! Got some critiques here and there from my professor and I really I am happy with the results! I learned a lot about this medium, up close it constantly felt like I was just muddying it, but then you take a step back and the impact is pretty compelling. It was interesting to not have the ability to erase too, really made me think and consider my line placement, and also that if mistakes happen they just happen and to loosen up a little bit. by @dearstrangesummer

My garden has been ran through this year. Landlords, neighbors, and animals have all tried to literally crush her down, run her over, chop her up.... but she persists! This year I was able to get rhubarb, strawberries, blackberries, and black raspberries. And I am taking all of them to my new house, she doesn't deserve to be left here to suffer and be neglected!! Maybe I'll do a storytime about the horrors she has faced at some point. by @dearstrangesummer

There are dozens of other clips I could have included and hundreds more I didn't capture in the first place. I wanted to document things that intrigued me, like all the stained glass and unique textures and forms. There were a lot of cool things and you could sit at any one building for hours if you really wanted to. I feel tempted to make a huge vase with dragons and spots for flowers to grow out of, definitely not as huge as theirs, but something inspired by it. taken in The House On The Rock by @dearstrangesummer
