Dear Tabu

do you believe that
desire is sweetest
when it leaves us thirsty?

Dear Tabu,

i wonder what it’s like
to hear you sing,
not on set, not in a scene,
but just for me.
let me be the lucky human
you serenade for a moment.
so i can say i’ve heard
the song in your voice
that no camera can capture.

Dear Tabu

i wonder if the words
you never publish
are as haunting
as the glances
you leave behind.

Dear Tabu

there is tenderness
in your strength
that makes my heart ache
in the sweetest way.

Dear Tabu,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
MY QUEEN 💖👑👸👑💖

they call you
graceful, magnetic, timeless.
but if i'm being honest,
my favorite word for you is
𝔻𝔸ℕ𝔾𝔼ℝ𝕆𝕌𝕊.
not because of the roles you play.
but because you’ve made
women like me write “fan notes”
that are anything but innocent.

Dear Tabu

the other day, i read your interview
with my heart caught in the quiet
and i keep thinking
will i ever got the chance
to talk to you?

Dear Tabu

sometimes just knowing that
you’re somewhere in the world
is enough to keep my heart
from closing its windows.

Dear Tabu,

to me, you are not
just an actress,
but a storyteller,
a poet in disguise.
every role feels like
a chapter of a book
i never want to end.

Dear Tabu

the world says i should be whole
before i am loved
but you make me wonder
if maybe love is the way
we find our missing pieces.

Dear Tabu,

what magic did you
weave into your soul
that makes me want
to write to you like this?

your laughter is proof
that joy has wings.

you are proof that
desire can be both
poetry and wildfire.
