Fleshcrave is a relentless death metal force emerging from Kolkata, India — forged in old-school brutality. Delivering crushing riffs, guttural intensity and a violent live assault true to the genre’s golden era.

Formed in April 2021, Fleshcrave stands among the few uncompromising old-school death metal acts in the Indian subcontinent.
Their debut EP “Godhand” (Feb 21, 2026 via Death Metal Promotion) channels the dark universe of Berserk — exploring fate, brutality, sacrifice and cosmic horror.

Live at JUICE ASSAULT V.3 @dethfest.in , 3rd May - @ext.hyd

Tornado of Souls.

Throwback to 2017. It had already been a year since I started taking guitar lessons, and I was going almost nowhere. Like a knight in shining armor, Rust In Peace rattled my 13-year old brain, so much so that I couldn't stop yapping about it day and night. And there's one man in particular who just happened to prick my ear - Marty Friedman himself. Marty's playing sounded otherworldly to my pre-mature ears - something different from the incoherent wreckage I was used to listening. Fanboy-ed so hard, I binge-watched his VHS tapes/playthroughs with THAT red Kelly, and just wondered - how awesome can this man's playing possibly be, and daydreamed about playing like him someday. That day's still afar and uncertain, but Marty's influence pushed me to practice harder. Goes to say, he's the sole reason why I'm here, still going on with subpar guitar knowledge.

Tonight, I made my 13-year old self happy.
Thank you @martyfriedman
