Being this close to Generations of the Journey back from long ago History of Thousands roaming our lands, just makes my heart beat stronger with gratitude to be able to capture a few memorable images of these massive Beasts, on these incrediblely warm early fall days. Fascinating early morning breakfast hack! Downy Woodpecker at Jenny Lake boat launch sight @grandtetonnps I heard it way up in the trees. Then, within a few minutes, it flew right down next to me and gave me a close up show for about 15min.

A Plan Only God can Orchestrate with Complete Blessings 🌄🙌🫶
With the Suggestion from Shanna at Cooke City Visitors Center. My first time driving this BearTooth Pass road & being in awe of the beauty and incredible people I met this evening.
And still made it back in time for a Cowboy Burger at Miners Saloon in Cooke City, MT and more nice folks to visit with. Missed getting pics of my meal and Chatting with friends!
Thank you Brett Nelson for the great visit at Island Lake and then for stopping to snap the best sunset image with me at the BearTooth Summit! A couple good ones of impromptu new friends as well. Give Handsome Yuma a pet! I look forward to seeing your Grizzly images!
I met another young family close to the top with a very young Golden Retriever puppy, who live in Red Lodge who had wonderful information as well! Thank you Larry, Sam & family.
I saw several deer, a huge Bull Moose, Porcupine, and the same 5 black steers, on my way back down the mountain!
I look forward to making a trip back thru again soon!
Folks in this community are definitely living the Good Life!

Enjoying the SBG @steakandbuttergal Meat-Up in Bozeman MT this weekend, & celebrating our 250th 🇺🇸
Meating so many wonderful Meat Eaters / Carnivore Lifestyle Healthy Folks living & sharing incredible information and amazing stories. We are the most Delicious Meat I think I've ever eaten and Raw Dairy, cheese & butter.
My biggest highlight was Getting to visit & share special time with 85 yr young Rancher Maggie @ranchermaggie from Alberta Canada who has eaten primarily meat for over 65 yrs and looks & acts 25-30 years younger at least. She is absolutely sincerely beautiful inside & out and I feel we really connected, like a sisterhood with so very much on common. I look forward to sharing more time with her on her Ranch soon.

My First ever Astrophotography experience & extra special here at @powderhornranch with @equinephotographersnetwork workshop Retreat.
Thanks to @terricagephotography helping us with settings, all of us enjoyed the MilkyWay & then Big Dipper in last image in a whole new way. Experimented with my bright flashlight lighting up the foreground & rock butte and then the red tail lights of car leaving was interesting as well..

@photographybyjmbosco relative confirmed... Do you see the green streaks in the image? That’s airglow from oxygen atoms excited by particles ejected the sun. This is rare and happens mostly at solar maximum, like the current period. Some people are just smart in ways I admire, but I need more brain cells. Lol

And These tiny red and blue specks in the dark ground/foreground areas are almost certainly hot pixels (also called stuck pixels or thermal noise pixels). from GROK. I didn't take time to edit these out at this late hour.

We have a 4:45 am loadup in the pickups for another Sunrise shoot with Horses & riders and breakfast out on location.
They are treating us like royalty!!!

In Honor of National Dog Memorial Day and for many of the incredible, wonderful, forever Loving Dogs in my life, that were family members, creating Joy, Fun and a Livelihood like none other! God created Dogs as our Best Friends! I believe this and have lived with some of the Best Dogs! I'm grateful to have been raised with Dogs and raised my son with Dogs!
