POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

PLAYING FAVORITES: From the swinging of hands like an asian grandma I knew this would be a cringefest for me and was not wrong. I dragged my feet to share this, if not for airing the music from amazing producers that I somehow managed to bludgeon and butcher through this mix 😬 Some Thomas p heckmann, yetsuby forthcoming on @mnshift , and new drop from dtw were personal highlights. Thanks to @_hzqq_ and @s_____ffyan as always for the invite. by @debbchia

Hey my recent set for @nowherebaths Soft Landing series is up on sc. 2 hours of ambient bangers and lots of favorites that I hope will become yours too. After a while swimming in the downtempo easy listening sofa lite fm world, I’m feeling curious about a house set soon. Thanks to @ohnicegrand for the snap! by @debbchia

Come to your senses with our next edition of Soft Landing, an afternoon of ambient soundscapes and thermal bathing.

This time, we invite you to let time unravel with guest DJs:

@debbchia, co-owner of the record label Midnight Shift and former participant of Red Bull Music Academy. Expect an ambient and meditative set drifting between texture, rhythm, and sound.

@kindergarchy is Amanda Rizkita’s attempt to translate her inner world into music. Her sets are often tinged with a sense of play, a lot of curiosity, and sometimes a quiet tension bubbling underneath. Her inspiration spans ambient music, nature-inspired sounds, and droning manmade blips.

Illustration by @ohnicegrand, inspired by looking up at the sky on a lazy afternoon on the outdoor deck.

Book your bathhouse visit during this time to experience the session.

Sip and snack to the spins, as June’s characters take you through your evenings here.

Four nights of vinyl cap off each week, beginning with Dave @hookstyle’s debut in the first weekend and Midnight Shift’s Debbie @debbchia making a comeback in the second. Out of studio hours, Jin Seow @4sstro_boi finds himself sharing his crates, tying up the second half with Leland @lelnd.

John T @sideo joins us in celebrating our Cocktail Week guest shift with Bangkok’s @rabbitholebkk, while Revision’s Nez @nezsenja, Brendan @umami.upapi.88, Groovetop’s Feo @feosho, and DJ MC Vijay @vijay.swtlkr return for much-needed midweek shuffles.

We’re midway through the year but don’t sweat, we’ve got the tunes covered always. taken in Bar Bon Funk by @debbchia

Some beautiful shots from the Good Vibrations gathering last month by @blackoutagencyasia. Feeling reflective about my creative pursuits, mainly because work has taken centerstage lately and the balance has tilted more than I like. I remember regularly gigging 3x a week many years before, then just 3x a year as a new mom, and now I’ve kinda settled into a monthly rhythm. 12 gigs a year is still a very healthy amount to have imo. And each one becomes a highlight that is prepared for with singular intent. Because it’s my one show of the month that I can make happen, and I appreciate its character to the fullest in all color and form, sight and sound. I don’t know what the future holds but this is what it is for me right now. by @debbchia

A little film memory to break up the grid of flyers 😬 Reminds me of those random wood carvings in the middle of somewhere that say “We were here”. Same spirit for a different time. 📸 developed by @ooleebs taken in RASA Space by @debbchia

Natural Selection 09 // Curated by @debbchia

We don’t always trust the algorithms, we prefer to get music from the people we know have great taste in music. 👌🏽

For this edition of Natural Selection, we invited Midnight Shift co-founder and multifaceted selector Debbie Chia to fill us in on what she’s been tuning in to.🎶

Debbie is a rare breed of artist whose range spans from deep techno in Mauritius to installing sound art for Festivals. Having spent eight years in Berlin, she has mastered the art of the “deep dive,” evidenced by her ambient performances at the legendary Berghain,Halle 🏢.

Whether she’s facilitating a Sound Bath or contributing to Hör Radio, her selections are always expansive and intentional. ✨

This time, last year, we opened RASA to the world and what a journey it’s been! These are not the easiest of times to operate in, so we are grateful for the patience and warmth of the many communities served and played host to. RASA is and will always be a work-in-progress. A place where communities build communities.

To kick off our 1st year anniversary festivities, we’ve invited Yu Su (@yusu_suyu).

Born in Kaifeng and now based in London, Yu Su’s practice moves fluidly between sound art and composition. Her work resists categorization, drifting between ambient, left-field pop, experimental club forms and deeply personal narratives. Across releases on Technicolor, Music From Memory and Bie Records, and collaborations with artists such as John Carroll Kirby and Duval Timothy, she has shaped a voice that feels both expansive and intimate. As a DJ, Yu Su is quietly disarming. Her selections unfold patiently and unforced, often slipping sideways just when the floor thinks it understands what’s coming next. It’s this idiosyncratic approach - casual yet magnetic - that has carried her through spaces like Dekmantel, Glastonbury, Nuits Sonores and Boiler Room, holding rooms in a collective suspension.

Joining her are @debbchia , opening the evening with depth and restrain, and @barker_volteklabs b2b @bongomann_ , meeting at the intersection of rhythmic curiosity and long-form club pressure.

Doors open 18:00 - come early for dinner & drinks
Early Bird $30 / Standard: $35 / Door $48 (incl. 1 drink)
