Happy birthday my dear @debbiee_light ❤️

I think of Debby and I genuinely feel God sent me an angel for a friend.

You have one of the purest souls I've met. There's something so gentle and innocent about you, & it's hard to fully put it into words. Your calmness, your kindness, even the softness of your voice carries so much peace.

I love how you analyze situations. You don’t just bring sympathy or biases in your judgement; you don’t just say the things that are good to hear. You bring perspective and help others see things more clearly and objectively without imposing your views on them.

And then there is your heart.

You are thoughtful in many ways. You give so much of yourself just to ensure that others are fine. I hope you know that your thoughtfulness and kindness do not go unnoticed.

Throwback to one of our most heartfelt designs, a craft close to our hearts!

Last year, we had the honour of designing a bespoke greeting card for Ecobank Nigeria in celebration of Pastor E.A. Adeboye’s birthday.

This card was crafted with reverence, love, and excellence. A tribute to a life poured out in love, service, and unwavering faith.

At Amor Designs, we believe every card should carry a message deeper than words, one that reflects beauty, honor, and God’s heart.

Few years ago, while serving as a National Youth Corp member in Abuja, I enrolled in a certification course. One evening, on my way home from class, a man in a jeep drove past me, then suddenly stopped and waited until I caught up. Just like a scene from a Nollywood movie, he asked for my name. In my suspicious but curious manner, I told him, wondering what he was driving at.

He went on to boast about his really impressive qualifications and prestigious job, then casually flashed a huge stack of money. He further offered me both the cash and a ride home. I was so shocked and had no words for him. My mind raced with questions—Is this how they do it? Is he a ritualist? Or A divine helper? What exactly does this man want, and why is he showing me money?

Amidst my whirlwind of thoughts, one thing was clear: I wasn’t going to find out. I politely declined, kept walking, and never looked back.

Why did I walk away? I understood that The Lord is my source, not any man. Though, I was a broke corper at the time, I knew that my worth isn't in my bank account but my worth is in the fact that I have been bought with a very heavy price through the precious blood of Jesus and He orders my path.

A few years ago, I had a conversation with my husband @sola_adebiyi about a difficult issue I had with someone. In his usual wisdom, he simply said, “For your heart’s sake, let it go.” Over the years, he has repeated this phrase in different ways, always emphasizing the importance of my heart’s condition in choosing to honor God above all else.

In 2022, I was scammed by an Instagram page impersonating a real farm organization. I had wanted to purchase their products, only to realize too late that it was a fraud. It was my first experience being scammed on instagram, and I felt foolish😄🤦🏾‍♀️—questioning why I hadn’t done better due diligence. My husband consoled me, we prayed for a hundredfold restoration, and he urged me to forgive the scammer because something bigger was coming.

After some reflection, I sent a message: “I forgive you.” It’s interesting to note that, while the scammer had ignored all my previous messages, this time he responded, saying: “Thank you.” 😄🤦🏾‍♀️

Two days later, I received a random gift from a friend—worth about four times what I had lost. Even now, I continue to experience unexpected restoration.

Situations may differ, and some may be far worse than mine, but one thing remains: “Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life.”

For your heart’s sake, choose to honor God and others. You’ll be better for it.
