Life with me after 60 🐾❤️

These three munchkins had me laughing! 😂 One of them missed the pee pad and left a little 💩 on the floor. Hubby, in his loud, gruff voice, says, “WHO DID THIS?” 🤨

He picks it up, wipes the floor and puts a fresh pad down… then realizes all three dogs have disappeared! 👀

Where were they? All squeezed into ONE crate, hiding like they were in BIG trouble! 🤣🐶🐶🐶

As if anything was going to happen! These spoiled-rotten babies can do almost anything and still have us wrapped around their little paws. ❤️

Nobody confessed, but apparently they’re sticking together. “If one of us goes down, we ALL go down!” 😂🐾

Do your dogs act guilty even when you’re not talking to them? 🤣

Life with me after 60 😂🎉

I meant to post this Friday, but the weekend flew by… and here I am, STILL dying laughing! 🤣

I went to the dollar store, spotted these birthday hats and couldn’t resist! So yes, we put them on and away we went for dinner to celebrate Gavin’s birthday! 🥳🎂

My hubby’s face when I say we’re going to a birthday party is priceless—it’s his “WOO HOO, let’s celebrate!” face! 😂🙌 Between the hats and his expressions, I can’t stop laughing!

Sometimes you’ve just gotta do something crazy and be the entertainment! Dinner comes with a free comedy show when we show up! 🤣🎉

We actually didn’t surprise them that much walking in with those hats on which makes me laugh, even more !😂👇

🐾 Life with me after 60 🐾

We took Jackson for a long walk today, and he started out all gung ho! 😂 Walking fast, nose to the pavement, sniffing absolutely everything. Chipmunks, squirrels, foxes, other dogs… who knows what scents he was picking up! 🐿️🦊🐶

On the way back, that energy was a different story… somebody needed a lift home! 🤣💕 Apparently, we signed up for a walk AND a workout carrying him!

I guess we’ll have to do more walks and build up his stamina a little at a time. 🐾

Does your dog ever decide the walk is over before you’re home? 😂👇

🐷🎉 LIFE WITH ME AFTER 60 :PORKETTA BINGO! 🎉🐷

Well, yesterday was an absolute blast! 😂 I hadn’t been to a Porketta Bingo in probably 25 years, and after yesterday, I can definitely say I’d go again!

What a great way to spend an afternoon lots of laughs, great company, a little friendly competition and, of course, some REALLY good porketta! 😋

Our table actually did pretty darn good too… I believe we walked away with FOUR baskets! 🧺🙌 Not too shabby!

But the best part was spending the afternoon with our friends. ❤️ They’ll be moving to Newfoundland, so we’re definitely trying to soak in as many of these fun days and make as many memories together as we can before they go. 🥹

Yesterday was one of those simple days that reminds me that life really is about the people you spend it with, the laughs ( I laughed until I cried) you share and the memories you make. ❤️

Now I need to know… have you ever been to a Porketta Bingo? And would you go again? 🐷😂

💕 These Ladies SHOW UP! 💕

I could not be prouder of these three ladies! 🥰👏

They understand that if you want your business to grow, you have to show up for it. They put in the effort, they stay committed, they keep learning, and they work hard to make sure they’re not leaving money on the table. 💰✨

And these are the same three ladies who showed up at my place this summer, ready to learn, grow and evolve together. 💕 That says so much about who they are and how seriously they take what they’re building.

June, Rosie & Tracy — I see you, I see your effort, and I am SO proud of you! 🌸👏 Keep showing up, ladies, because it’s paying off!

Yesterday we took in a car show, and I just had to share some of these old goldies! ❤️

I picked 8 vehicles to show you, and I have to say, there’s just something so cool about seeing these old cars still running and looking SO darn good after all these years! 😍👏

The shine, the chrome, the different styles… they certainly don’t make them like they used to! 🚗✨

Now I want to know…

🥞✨ OK… THESE PANCAKES WERE AMAZING! ✨🥞

I decided to switch things up with my Cream Caramel Meal Replacement and make PANCAKES! And oh my goodness… SO GOOD! 😋🙌

I used 4 scoops of Cream Caramel, which gave me 20.8g of protein 💪

🥛 Added some milk but you could definitely use water
🥄 Stirred it all together into a pancake batter
🧈 Added a little butter to my frying pan you could use oil instead
🥞 Fried them up just like regular pancakes!

And the best part? They were so tasty and had that yummy caramel flavour that I didn’t even need syrup! 🤤

I love finding different ways to use products I already enjoy. Who says a meal replacement has to be a shake? 😉

🍁 Life With Me After 60 🍁

Okay… I may not be ready for what comes after fall 😂❄️, but I have to admit, this time of year sure knows how to put on a show! ❤️🍂

The maple is turning the most gorgeous shade of red, and the rest of the trees are just starting to show hints of yellow and gold. 🍁💛 I’m thinking within another week, the colours are going to be absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

And we really can’t complain about the weather lately this past week has been so nice. ☀️ I’ll happily take every warm, sunny fall day we can get!

🏒 LIFE WITH ME AFTER 60 🏒

And just like that… the first tournament of the year is in the books! 🙌❤️

There is SO much fun in watching our grandson out there doing what he loves. He’s shifty, feisty, and definitely keeps us on the edge of our seats! 😂🏒

I could watch these kids play all day. There’s just something about tournament weekends, cheering from the stands and watching them battle it out on the ice. ❤️

Another tournament in the books… and I have a feeling there are going to be MANY more rink weekends ahead! 🥅🏒👏

LIFE WITH ME AFTER 60 🔥🚒

Well, yesterday we went to visit my sister at her seniors’ apartment complex and all of a sudden… THE FIRE ALARM WENT OFF! 😳

My first instinct was, “Okay, let’s GO!” 😂 I was ready to head right out the door.

My sister quickly informed us that we had to stay where we were. Let me tell you, that was a little nerve-wracking! The alarm just kept going and going and NOTHING seemed to be happening.

About 15 minutes later, the fire department arrived. 🚒 I’m assuming they already had some indication that there wasn’t an active fire because nobody seemed to be in a huge panic.

We found out later that apparently someone had a hot plate in their room and that’s what set off the alarms. Thankfully, everyone was safe and there was no fire. ❤️

BUT now I have a question!

As soon as the firefighters jumped out of the truck, I noticed them putting something on each others back. It looked almost like hoses or some kind of connections, but I really couldn’t tell what they were doing.

So now I’m curious… 🤔

Any firefighters out there or anyone who knows what this is? 🚒🔥

I love learning something new!
