POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Have you ever heard of a 15min Actor's Reel? Nope, me neither. Which is why I need help! 😆

Where are my Editor Friends at?

I have always edited my Reels but this time I need help editing all this footage into a 3min Reel... keeping the Good, cutting the Bad... with a new set of neutral eyes. Yes, I am Swiss and therefor neutral but you know what I mean...

Feeling up for it? Then please send me some of your past work/reel edits and rates!

And to those who are actually watching the full 15min… God bless you and thank you!

What a special Evening. The magical Premiere of ‘Blue Baby’ last Night was a success and I’m truly humbled and moved to be a part of telling Caleb’s and his family’s story.
An Interview from the Carpet as well as more (professional) photos to follow with my wonderful Castmates and of course our incredible writer and director @martinssamuelstudios . So very proud of what you have created and now I can’t wait for people to see this.
This 40min Film serves as the pilot of what we hope to become a limited series. We’re hoping to shoot more Episodes and sell it to Netflix. A true story of finding hope, faith and trust within the deepest of sorrows. Stay tuned for updates! 🎬✨🙏🏻

Huge thanks to everyone who came out and for the support, especially @andreamartinai who raced down after wrapping on set! 💕

Made it to Atlanta for the 168 Film Festival — a little later than expected due to my flight being delayed, so an impromptu wardrobe change and freshen-up at the airport was necessary before heading straight to the festival lol! 🎬✨

I’m honored and excited to represent our film ‘Fresno’, which was nominated in eight categories!

So special to be here alongside our wonderful screenwriter, James Beeler.
‘Fresno’ is based on the true story of his ancestors, and I had the incredible opportunity to portray his great-great-grandmother, who immigrated from Denmark to Fresno. ❤️

And of course, our wonderful and incredibly talented composer and pianist, @ginalenee ! 🎶

Looking forward to seeing all the other Films and connecting with wonderful Filmmakers 🙏✨

Blast from the past… when I was one of the 6 Stand Ins on the CBS Sitcom ‘B Positive’ by Chuck Lorre - during Covid.

The show was a huge blessing for many reasons. It gave me financial security during a very unstable time. We were the first show that got green lit to get to work during a Pandemic.

That meant masks, shields, testing 3 times a week etc. but it also gave me an escape and something else to focus on while the world seemed upside down - and I was going through major personal life changes at the same time.

This show and its creators also not only gave me 1 Co-Star (upgraded the day of filming)… they ended up writing a 2nd Co- Star for me so I could get the full experience, including my own Trailer, rehearsals and network runthrough etc.

It was there though where I realized something.
One of the major recurring actors of the show, Bernie Kopell, came up to me on stage during rehearsal and asked me: ‘Gerber, what do you want to be when you grow up?’
With a smile I answered: ‘This - I’m doing it’.
His answer changed my trajectory. He told me to be careful and not get stuck being a ‘Stand-In’. He told me I was an Actress.
I let that sink in.

Shortly after, one other actor of the main cast came up to me and said something very similar during a beautiful conversation AND our 1st AD - a dinosaur in the industry whom people were afraid of - asked me this simple question: Are you a Stand-In or are you an Actress?

Before Season 2 wrapped up (and before knowing the show would not get renewed for a new season) - I quit.
I quit a job that gave me steady income, savings, a safety net. A job others desperately wanted. But it’s been confirmed to me 3 times that it was time for me to spread my wings and fly.

The show unfortunately got canceled a few weeks later and I have never been busier as a full time actress ever since.

Sometimes we have to make that leap and jump into the unknown and trusting that God’s got it.
Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.
