If you know me,
You know I'm a big AFROGOSPEL Girlie!

I had such an amazing time praising God and singing my heart out at A Davidic Concert 1.0

Such a time to be alive!

YOU ARE NOT LIKE THEM.

In the early hours of today,
I was thinking about how work-life balance is not realistic for some people at a certain point of their existence.

In a bid to expand my thoughts,
I visited YouTube to watch a video by Victor Okafor @victor_okafor that had previously been on my "Watch Later" list.

His line of thought in the video brought to life what I had also been thinking about.

You see,
You know who you are,
You know where you are from,
You know the responsibilities you carry,
You can't compare yourself with everyone else,
At some point in your life,
The work-life balance may truly not exist.

It definitely will not continue like that forever,
But during that period of time,
You have to LOCK IN,
And probably throw the key away.

Just for that period of time.

Because truly,
You are not like every other person,
Your story is different,
Your background is different,
Your life,
Is different.

THOUGHTS TO WORDS 001

A question I got recently is "How do I know that I am making progress in life?"

That came from a young person, someone you will typically call a GenZ, a university graduate.

"I'm done with school, I don't know what else I'm doing with my life."

"I'm done with service, I don't know what else to do."

I've heard these questions from a good number of people these past couple of days.

Let me give you something that my Mentors gave me: MAKE MONEY OR MAKE MOVE.

The application of this in the question of knowing if you are making progress in your life might majorly be making moves.

You have to determine and define what progress means to you.

For some it means getting a job. For others, it is getting married. For some, it is just not being who they are yesterday.

Decide what your definition of progress is and make the necessary moves towards that.

For me, for example,

At a point in my life, getting the knowledge needed in a course was the definition of progress for me and I immersed myself in it. At some other points, getting a particular gadget was progress. At another, it was reading books and building my library.

Define what progress means to YOU. Don't work with another person's timeline or definitions. Sort your definition out, then make moves towards it.
Just move the needle, one day at a time.
Then judge with that.

I hope this helps.

I was at Greatman Takit's album listening in Ibadan a couple of months ago and it is what I will call 'A Time Well Spent.'

Excel @exceljoab is a phenomenal host
@blacksemz I couldn't stop talking about Semz the Hype Man even after the event. The energy in the room is so massive and he stirred it excellently.
@djclassix_ Classix, no one will forget that experience. Classix even took us to the oldies!
@drfoy Congratulations sir, we missed having you and your energy around but the team represented.
@uncle_abadi Uncle with the steeze, thank you for gracing Ibadan with your presence sir.
Shout out to Osas and every single member of the Energize Music Team.

@greatmantakit goodness, I have so many things to say.
I recorded this video almost 2 hours after I got home that day. Yet, I was still very energetic, very hyper.
I invited a couple of people who really do not listen to Greatee before, they said they will probably leave before the event ends, they could not!
In fact, they are now super fans.
We are super blessed to have you in this generation. You steward the assignment very excellently.

I'm happy everyone now gets to experience the beauty and the balanced diet that you served in FLAMES OF A WILDFIRE.

Every music video has also been a hit back to back, excellently done.

We love you very much, Greatee and we are praying for you. From here to more, from here to higher, from here to better.

Cheers. 🥂

Very important question:

How has been your experience with FLAMES OF A WILDFIRE?
Are you still streaming? Because I am!!
I even know the Supercool rap, I ain't your mate 😂😂

PS: I recorded this video a while back, my phone had issues and I thought I lost it. Found it and here we are 😍

You know what they say...

A joyful heart is good medicine..

Dance is indeed also a good medicine.

The past couple of days, months actually,

I've had to made some decisions,
Had to make some purchases and even some strip offs.

It's a lot.

Sometimes, 'everywhere deh blur' 😂

Sometimes I rethink my life decisions, literally, I'm like 'how did I find myself in this situation?'

Lol.

But I'm grateful.

Grateful for them all.

I mean, yesterday, I crossed off something that I have always wanted from my list,

That's a lotttt.

It gets better from here.

Fingers crossed, we look forward to beautiful days ahead.

Cheers 🥂

This is such a good week.

My focus for this week is majorly on heart enlargement and believing God, this therefore decided my choice of videos.

This is what I have.

Now, over to you...

Which YouTube videos did you watch this week instead of doomscrolling?

Have you seen any of these videos? Will you check them out?

Let me know in the comments.

YouTube, weekly recap, what I watched this week, Joel Osteen, Victor Akuwa, Emmanuel Iren, PstIrenSaid.
