#Christmas decorating has begun. Keeping the tree simple with red bows and candy canes this year. by @deborahyea
Have you ever been working on one project when an idea inspiration hits? That's what happened last week to me, I'm in crochet gift mode and my plan was to make C2C pillow covers. As I'm about row 4 in, I see the triangle shape taking form and realize the yarn I was using would look really good as a shawl so ran with that idea and what do you know it actually worked. Best part, anyone can make one without a graph or pattern! Start working C2C and just keep increasing on both sides like normal. That's it, that's all there is to it. As your triangle gets larger, drape it over you for fit then keep increasing till the fronts and back are as long as you'd like them to be. Fasten off, weave in your ends and done. There's no decreasing, just keep increasing to size. I love how something so simple can give such wonderful results. Yay! It's finally #sweaterweather here in Ohio, at least for today. We're wearing sweaters I'd made, I'd also designed the one I'm wearing. Love these little kiddos! #crochethappiness #hookedoncrochet #igcrochet #crochetaddict #ilovefall by @deborahyea

This morning I went to the one and only festival I look forward to every year, The Wool Gathering Festival in Yellow Springs OH. I'd had so much fun stopping at every stall and handling skein upon skein of soft colorful yummyness, oh alpaca how I adore your softness!!! I was there for almost an hour 1/2, and left only when the heat of the day started getting too much. Here's the stash I ended up bringing home, those bad boy bagged balls of yarn will become a crochet rug. The rest will probably become cardigans or sweaters and I can't wait to see how they work up. #yarnhoarder #yarnaddicted #crochetaddict #hookedoncrochet #yarnlover #yarnaddict by @deborahyea

My sweet Grand girls had watched me crocheting myself a purse and had wanted me to make them one too. I told them I would if I found a pattern and wouldn't you know in my email that day shows up the pattern for the Blythe Bunny and Bear purses by @lakesideloops ! I was able to make both of these cuties in 24 hours, they love them! Thank you so much for such an awesome and fast pattern, you've made two little girls tremendously happy, their Grammy too. #crochetisfun #igcrochet #crochethappiness #yarnhoarder #crocheteveryday #hookedoncrochet #crochetaddict #crochetaddiction by @deborahyea
Cosmos, Lillies, Hostas, and Desi (our pup 😂), that's how our #Summer #garden rolls. Actually hoping to get to the garden center this weekend to see if they've any Cosmos left, as I don't think I've got enough, or rather I can never have enough. 😉 #ilovesummer #gardenblooms #fx_hdr #9vaga_flowerscolor9 by @deborahyea
The Macrame Lace Boho Bag. My own design that was inspired by a trip to JoAnn and a leather tassles hair tie, true story. 😂 I single crocheted the base and then hung it upside down on a pants hanger (last pic), then used square knot macrame for the middle. When I had my length I tied them into knots and proceeded to crochet the top placing my first row into the loops of the big knots I'd made. I had to YouTube how to crochet a rope for my handles as I'm not a fan of stretching crocheted ones. Pretty pleased with how it turned out.
