Join us in wishing a Happy Birthday to one of our purple belts, Matt! 🎉🥋

Matt joined Moementum after a long layoff from jiu-jitsu and recovering from a serious injury. Since stepping back on the mats, he’s been a great example of perseverance, showing that no matter the obstacles, you can always come back stronger with the right mindset and consistent effort.

He’s constantly pushing himself to improve and even stepped onto the competition mats just a couple of weeks ago alongside his son. Watching them share that experience was something special and speaks to what this community is all about.

Matt is a great training partner, a valued member of our team, and someone we’re proud to have representing Moementum.

Jett had his first jiujitsu tournament yesterday. With only four months of training he asked me if he could compete. At first I was hesitant being his short time training. But he reminded me of myself, so I said let’s go. He had some tough matches with more experienced kids, he held his own and was stoked. He is already asking to compete again I love his heart. Thanks to @moejoe311 and @jorgesantiago4life for guiding him on the right path. Now we know what we have to work on. Proud of you Jett. by @debostyles
