Caution ⚠️ May Cause Hot Branding ☕️ It’s so crazy to think I’m celebrating 7 years of graphic design, 6 of which I’ve been a full time freelancer for my brand @decafedigital 😌🤍 I’m so grateful to the experiences and clients that have transformed me into who I’ve become. When I started I couldn’t have imagined the life I would create for myself or the impact I be able create for my clients. ✨ From websites, flyers, billboards and brick and mortars I feel like I’ve done it all, but I know there’s still so much more for me to learn and experience. I can’t wait to see how year 7 looks for me as I push forward with new launches and better services to serve entrepreneurs of all kinds. To my clients, you all are my heart. When I posted my resignation three months ago, I genuinely didn’t know if I would ever want to design again. 😅 After seven years of working professionally as a graphic designer, I was exhausted. The way I was operating my business was taking my sleep, joy, and peace. I never wanted my business to become the thing that defeated me when it was supposed to be the thing that delivered me. Stepping away allowed me to strengthen my relationship with Christ, spend more time with the people I love, and fall in love with design again. It also gave me clarity about the clients I want to serve: people who value intentional branding, trust my creative vision, and want to create something authentic—not replicate what everyone else is doing.
