Reach The Dream Foundation is a youth-led organisation based in Cape maclear chembe village. The main aim of the project is to help children.

Reach The Dream Foundation is the first project providing free early childhood education, free meals, and part-time education for elementary learners to over 800 children since 2022. This shows that our impact is very high, but our budget is very low. We need people to help our education and feeding program for underprivileged children here in malawi.

Reach The Dream Foundation was founded in 2022 under the leadership of Overton Decco.

In 2024, Reach The Dream Foundation Daycare was officially recognised by the malawi National Youth Council summit. I received a National Award in the humanitarian category as a youth helping his community.

Reach The Dream Foundation became the first project ever to receive this award from the southern region of malawi and the first project ever to receive this award from Malawi National Youth Council in Cape maclear. by @deccooverton

This group of tourists came to see Lake Malawi National Park, but on their way, they made a special stop at Reach The Dream Foundation Daycare in chembe Village, Cape Maclear.

They were so happy and impressed to see our children receiving free education and food every day.

These are the nursery school children of Reach The Dream Foundation here in Malawi, Chembe Village, Mangochi District.

These little ones come every morning to learn. In this video, they are taking a morning walk, singing songs with their teachers.

The Reach The Dream Foundation project is doing a commendable job to ensure every child receives free education and food. Many children in this area can not afford private nursery school, but we give them new hope.

This month is our busiest month ever at Reach The Dream Foundation - chembe village. Cape maclear.

Both shifts were full;

Morning: Nursery school children.

Afternoon [ 2pm - 5pm): primary school learners.

Our staff is working so tired, but with so much love, to make sure every child learns and every child eats.

But we have a big worry.

Report are showing that 2026 - 2027 will be a year of severe hunger here in malawi.

The maize harvest was poor. Families in Chembe Village are already struggling.

For many of our 800 + children, the bowl of Likuni phala they receive at Reach The Dream Foundation is their ONE MEAL FOR THE DAY.

Without our feeding program, they will learn on an empty stomach. Some will not come at all.

We urgently need more donors for our education and feeding program.

Please, if you have a kind heart ❤️, help us keep these children in school and fed.

We teach for free. We feed for free. But we can not do it alone.

Meet our staff mothers - the heart of Reach The Dream Foundation in malawi Africa.

This is our daily Likuni phala program at our nursery school in chembe village, Cape Maclear.

These mothers wake up early every day to cook porridge for our nursery children and afternoon learners.

They are working with so much love to make sure every child receives a bowl of nutritious food.

As you can see, we serve 300 bowls every morning. Each bowl is full of love.

Many of these children come to school hungry. This bowl of porridge is sometimes their only meal of the day.

🇲🇼 This is Reach The Dream Foundation - chembe Village.

These are the children who come every day for part-time lessons and Likuni phala (porridge].

Most of them are vulnerable or poor families. They cannot afford to go to private school, so they come to us.

We teach them for free and we give them food

As you can see in the video, the classroom is full. The need is big. We have more than 800 children but only one building.
