After careful consideration, I’ve decided to go “no contact” with a family member, PERMANENTLY.

I have REALLY tried and I am tired of trying to repair a relationship I didn’t destroy.

I do NOT believe every one tries their “best” when it comes to loving and supporting children (even into adulthood).
Some people simply do NOT.
••

Too often relatives are telling other family members they’ve hurt, what they SHOULD do to maintain a relationship, instead of listening to what they NEED from them ❤️‍🩹
••

Let this post be a sign to NORMALIZE an end to emotional (any form) abuse ❌
“They are family” is not an excuse anymore. Never should have been!
