I am so blessed and excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swim career at Southern Methodist University.

First, I want to thank my parents and brothers for their endless love and support throughout my swimming journey. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. I’m also incredibly grateful to all of my Dynamo and Bolles coaches and teammates for pushing me to become a better swimmer and person every single day.

Lastly, a huge thank you to Coach Ozzie, Coach Lisa, and Coach Mike for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. I’m beyond excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to be a Mustang!

I’m excited to share that for my junior and senior years of high school, I will be attending The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida! I’m incredibly grateful for all of the teachers at Lovett and the coaches at Dynamo who have supported, challenged, and believed in me along the way. Most of all, I want to thank my parents and my brothers for always being my number one cheerleaders and sacrificing so much to get me where I am. This next chapter is something I’ve been working toward for a long time, and I’m so excited to finish out my high school career at Bolles. Go Bulldogs! 🐾 by @deckerstedman
