Today, last year, he broke my heart into a million tiny pieces
Since then, I’ve been struggling but trying my best to not spread the heartbreak disease
It’s been a hell of a ride, and I’m still not at the end of this painful rollercoaster
But nevertheless I’ve made something of it, something that I am very proud of
Spinning Around in the Pain of Heartbreak, is a book full of poems I’ve lived through
From today on, I can finally start to share these with you
I hope some of you find some recognition or support in my book
Especially because I know how gut-wrenching it feels when they no longer give you that loving look
Please find comfort in the music of my words
And if you’re new to the heartache, let it hurt…
It will get better, I promise
But it doesn’t go a long way without letting the pain that comes along in
Thank you to everyone who believed in me and supported me in the process of making this
I’ve been a mess, as you know, but I’m getting there slowly, thank you for getting me through this shit
