Nail day! 🐢

Tortoiseshell is one of my favorite nail designs to do! I’ve been experimenting with different jelly colors and techniques, trying to get this design down pat. After a few wrong color choices, some trial and error, and lots of practice, I finally think this is my best set yet! #nails #nailart #DIY #fall #home by @decoratingfanatic

A little Halloween DIY fun!

Found a decorative apple at HomeGoods and decided to give it a spooky makeover! A can of black spray paint and some lettering turned an ordinary apple into the cutest Halloween “TOXIC” apple!

Such a simple, inexpensive way to turn everyday decor into something fun for Halloween! 👻🍂

There’s just something about this time of year! The flickering candlelight, a little Halloween music, and the amazing scents of fall filling the house. My absolute favorite! #halloween #fall #home #decorating #homedecor by @decoratingfanatic

Not sure what to call these… fall nails or tortoiseshell? 🤎🍂💅 I already had an orange base and didn’t feel like starting over, so I played around with a tortoiseshell design and added brown jelly polish to tone down the orange. Much better! Now they complement my brown floral accent nail! 🤎 #nails #fall #flower #brown #gelpolish by @decoratingfanatic

A dreary, rainy afternoon made cozy with an old Halloween favorite playing in the background and the warm scent of pumpkin spice donuts wafting through the house. 🎃🍩 #PumpkinSpice #fall #CozyFallDay #Homemade #baking by @decoratingfanatic

Got loose or hollow-sounding floor tiles? Here’s a little DIY fix that worked great for us!

We used Fix-A-Floor, which allows you to drill small holes into the grout lines and inject the adhesive underneath the tiles to fill the gaps and secure them. It worked perfectly!

Once everything was dry, I filled the little holes back in with grout and then used Polyblend Grout Renew to freshen up the grout lines and give everything a nice, uniform color.

What a difference! The tiles are secure, the grout looks amazing, and we didn’t have to tear up the floor! Sometimes the simplest fixes make the biggest difference! 😊#DIYHomeProjects #FixAFloor #GroutRenew #HomeImprovement #DIYTips by @decoratingfanatic

We’re making a few changes to our original house plans, and one thing I knew I wanted was for the tub to be the focal point of our bathroom. 🤍

So we’re rearranging the architect’s original layout to put the freestanding tub front and center under the window, with the chandelier centered in the bathroom to bring the whole space together. I love being able to visualize these changes before we finalize the plans! 🏡 #BuildingOurDreamHome #BathroomDesign #DreamBathroom #CustomHomeBuild #BuildingOurForeverHome by @decoratingfanatic

🏡 Getting closer to finalizing our house plans! We’ve been playing around with ideas and wanted to see what our great room might look like with a tray ceiling, fireplace, and built-in media center. It’s so much fun finally seeing some of our ideas come to life! ❤️🏡
