So about 4 months ago I started on a GLP-1 journey but it wasn’t for weight loss it was for my A1C that was up over 8. But I knew if I lost weight my numbers would and I would start to feel better. Here you see me at my heaviest 189 and then today at 153. I am 58 and trying hard to regain control of my body. I finally was sick of hearing when I went to the Drs “ oh keep working out, watching what you eat and getting a good nights sleep. Well that’s the problem I was doing that, well the gym was not as consistent as it could have been, but my sugar was up around 150 or more and I couldn’t get it below and my A1C as I said over 8 and rising. It has now dropped to 6 and my sugars are usually around 111 before breakfast. Things started to go really crazy when I turned 50 and menopause was a thing. So I sought out someone to help me because I wasn’t getting what I needed from my GP. I will be posting more about this journey as I go along. Being a member of groups that are for GLP-1 users I am finding that people don’t research and aren’t told the ins and outs as they start this journey so hopefully I can help in what I have found and researched. Went to the Red Apple Farm for dinner and walked through the Christmas lights. We were excited to see our friend Jess had her product at the store “Villa of Rhea.” If you haven’t tried her products go to her website or if you’re at the Red Apple Farm pick up something to try. People are always asking what I use on my skin and my hair. So I am posting my morning skin regimen. These are 2 products from Il Makiage that I am loving right now. The one on the left is “Woke up like this” which I love because it@is cool when you put it on your skin in the morning. I also use it at night. The one on the left is “Power Redo wrinkle fix” I am not sure about this at the moment I will let you know. I will post some other products I use that are from different companies.
