DIY decoración fácil veraniega 🪸🐟 Estiramos un poco de pasta de secado al aire. Nos ayudamos de un rodillo. Con un cortapastas damos forma. Después con unos moldes de silicona de motivos marinos aplicamos la decoración elegida. Lo adherimos con cola blanca, aunque también puedes humedecer con agua y aplicar un poco de presión para unirlos. Hacemos un agujero para pasar una cuerda. Dejamos secar bien y lo tenemos. DIY fácil veraniego 🫧 ¿Te imaginas guardar durante años unos pomos dorados que se cambiaron por otros? ¡Y tengo más! 😌 ¡Cuéntame cosas fuera de lo común que guardes! Así no me siento tan sola 🫣😅😂😂 La excusa de reciclarlos viene de la mano de una lámina en dorado que encontré para hacer repujado. Mirándola atentamente en la tienda, antes de comprarla, pensé en hacer algunas figuras marinas y en seguida acudieron a mí mente los pomos. Y ahí, en mi mente, se unieron formando un adorno muy interesante 💡 Calqué unos dibujos de la red y los plasmé en la lámina. Una vez recortados los adherí con un punto de silicona. And I’ve got more! 😌 Tell me about the unusual things *you* keep! That way, I won't feel so alone 🫣😅😂😂 The idea to repurpose them came to me when I found a sheet of gold foil for embossing. While looking closely at it in the store before buying, I thought about making some sea-themed shapes, and the knobs immediately sprang to mind. That’s where the two ideas came together to form a really interesting decoration 💡 I traced some designs from the internet and transferred them onto the foil. Once cut out, I attached them with a dab of hot glue. DIY velas veraniegas fáciles 🕯️🕯️ ¿Eres de las que guardan las conchas de las vieiras y zamburiñas? Pues hoy las reciclamos y convertimos en velitas para dar ambiente a las noches veraniegas 🌅 Ponemos unas velitas de té, de las que previamente hemos retirado las mechas, a fundir. Mojamos las bases de mechas o pabilos en la cera y las adherimos al fondo de las vieiras. A continuación vamos rellenando lentamente de cera. Dejamos solidificar bien y están listas para lucir en cualquier cena veraniega. Well, today we’re recycling them and turning them into little candles to set the mood for summer nights 🌅 We start by melting down some tea lights (after removing the wicks). We dip the wick bases into the wax and stick them to the bottom of the shells. Then, we slowly fill them with wax. We let them set completely, and they’re ready to show off at any summer dinner. DIY barquitos fáciles ⛵⛵ Lo primero y principal quiero mandar un abrazo enorme y todo mi cariño al pueblo venezolano 🇻🇪 Hoy un DIY fácil que nos decora cualquier rincón o mesa veraniega. Unas maderas y palitos recogidos en la playa nos sirven de base y mástil respectivamente. Encolamos un retazo de puntilla con cola blanca y dejamos secar bien. A continuación practicamos un pequeño orificio para insertar el mástil. Después adherimos con silicona caliente. Recortamos la vela y unimos al mástil. Today, here’s an easy DIY project to decorate any corner or summer table. We use pieces of wood and sticks—gathered at the beach—as the base and mast, respectively. We glue a scrap of lace in place using white craft glue and let it dry thoroughly. Next, we make a small hole to insert the mast and secure it with hot glue. Finally, we cut out the sail and attach it to the mast. DIY fácil veraniego Hoy que estrenamos verano en este emisferio ¿Eres del equipo verano o invierno? Yo claramente me posiciono en el invierno 😅 Por tanto apetece hacer trabajos más fáciles. Aquí solamente necesitamos tarros de cristalz unas plantillas de stencil y pintura. Limpiamos bien los tarros para que no queden restos de pegatinas o adhesivos. Colocamos bien el stencil y sujetamos con un poco de cinta para que no se mueva. Aplicamos a toquecitos la pintura con el pincel no demasiado cargado. Quitamos el stencil con cuidado y dejamos secar bien. Nos sirven para mil cosas, como portavelas, porta cubiertos en la mesa. En el baño para botecitos de cremas, etc... I’m definitely Team Winter 😅 That makes me feel like doing some easier projects. For this one, all we need are glass jars, stencils, and paint. First, clean the jars thoroughly to remove any leftover sticker or adhesive residue. Position the stencil carefully and secure it with a bit of tape so it doesn't shift. Apply the paint using a dabbing motion with a lightly loaded brush. Carefully remove the stencil and let it dry completely. DIY florero de tela reciclada ♻️ Dime que no soy la única que guardo los botes de especias vacíos 😅 De los retazos de tela ni hablamos ☺️ Por eso hoy los he combinado para darles un poco de salida con una idea que vi en una tienda parisina y decido llevar a la práctica. Tomando como patrón el bote, voy dibujando con un lápiz la silueta por el revés de dos retazos de tela. Hay que dejar espacio suficiente ya que el bote no es una superficie plana. Recorto y pongo del derecho. Con un stencil dibujo unas rayas al estilo de los linos antiguos. A uno le añado unas iniciales como las que antiguamente iban bordadas en el ajuar. Los uno por ambos lados de arriba a abajo con silicona caliente. Llenamos el bote con agua, le ponemos la funda florero y las flores que más nos gusten. Using the jar as a template, I traced the outline of two fabric scraps onto the wrong side of the jar with a pencil. You have to leave enough space since the jar isn't a flat surface. I cut them out and turn them right side out. With a stencil, I drew stripes in the style of antique linens. On one of the scraps, I added initials like the ones that were traditionally embroidered on trousseaus. I glued them together on both sides from top to bottom with hot glue. DIY repujado fácil con plantillas 🤍 Tenía unos moldes de aluminio usados y bien limpios esperando para ser utilizados. Pensé en intentar hacer una etiqueta y buscando modelos me vino la idea de usar una plantilla de stencil. Trabajamos sobre un trapo o superficie blanda. Primero fijamos con cinta adhesiva la plantilla al aluminio. Se hace del revés para que el texto quede del derecho al darle la vuelta. Y así vamos repasando todo el texto y el dibujo con un lápiz de punta redonda o un buril. Después recortamos toda la silueta. Y lo tenemos listo para usar en cualquier trabajo. Yo lo he adherido a una lata y como los dos aluminios casaban muy bien lo dejé así. Espero que te guste y te inspire a probar. I thought about trying to make a label, and while looking for designs, I got the idea to use a stencil. We work on a cloth or soft surface. First, we attach the stencil to the aluminum with tape. We do this from the back so that the text will be right-side up when we turn it over. Then we trace over the entire text and design with a round-tipped pencil or a stylus. Afterward, we cut out the entire shape. And it's ready to use for any project. I attached it to a can, and since the two pieces of aluminum matched up so well, I left it like that. DIY lamparita de papel fácil 💡 Solamente necesitas papel y frascos de vidrio 🫙 Yo guardaba una botellita de vinagre balsámico y un bote de mostaza porque sus formas me recirdaban a los pies de las lámparas. Con unas hojas de papel hago un zigzag para que me sirva de pantalla. Uno con pegamento de barra dos hojas. Después con una barrena hago un orificio para pasar una cinta de encaje con el que haré un lazo 🎀 Ajusto un punto de luz adhesivo y encima la pantalla. I cut a zigzag pattern out of some sheets of paper to use as a lampshade. I glued two sheets together with a glue stick. Then, using a hole punch, I made a hole to thread a lace ribbon through, which I tied into a bow 🎀 I attached an adhesive light and then the lampshade on top. by @decosurvintage

DIY Flores de tela fáciles 🌹🌹 Solo necesitas tela y cuerda 🤗 Yo he utilizado una tela de sábana vieja. La he teñido de un suave color rosa. Una vez preparada la tela voy marcando y cortando círculos. Y después ayudándome de un vaso los voy superponiendo un poco y pegando con una gota de silicona. Así, hasta que el centro quede cerrado. Después unimos la cuerda y peinamos los extremos antes de añadir la flor. Quedan muy bonitas en el pomo de una puerta, y también pueden ser alzapaños si dejamos la cuerda abierta en los extremos y adherimos la flor en el centro. I dyed it a soft pink. Once the fabric is ready, I mark and cut out circles. Then, using a glass as a guide, I overlap them slightly and glue them down with a drop of hot glue. I do this until the center is closed. Next, I attach the string and comb the ends before adding the flower. They look lovely on a doorknob, and they can also be used as curtain tiebacks if you leave the string open at the ends and attach the flower in the center. DIY portavelas con flores secas 🌼🌸🌿 ¿Tienes frascos vacíos? ¿Cuantos? 😉🤫 Vamos a reciclar algunos. Mira hasta el final que te enseño algo especial y te pido consejo 🤔 Tenía muchas ganas de hacerme unos farolillos con flores secas, de mi jardín, que voy secando entre hojas de libros y guardo con mucho cariño. Doy una buena capa de adhesivo tipo cola blanca, también puede ser mod podge. Le pongo una buena cantidad porque al final queda transparente con un toque esmerilado. Añado una cinta de cuerda y quedan perfectos como portavelas. Te cuento que durante el verano me encuentro en el jardín alas de cigarras y también de mariposas 🥹 Me da penita y las recojo. He pensado hacer unos colgantes con resina, pero no domino este tema ni lo ha probado. Contadme... ¿Que haríais vosotras con ellas? A ver si sacamos alguna idea más entre todas. I add a ribbon and they're perfect as candle holders. I have to tell you that during the summer I find cicada and butterfly wings in the garden 🥹 I feel bad about them and I collect them. I've thought about making some pendants with resin, but I'm not very good at it and haven't tried it before. Tell me... What would you do with them? DIY pintar con burbujas 🫧🪼🪼 Es muy fácil y divertido ¿Lo has probado? Primero con pasta de secado la aire doy forma a unas medusas con un agujero en el centro. Dejo secar bien y preparo la mezcla. Agua, pintura acrílica color aguamarina y unas gotas de detergente para formar espuma. Con una pajita soplo un poco y después vamos añadiendo burbujas a las medusas dejando secar bien al final. Pasamos unas cintas o hilos de rafia a través del agujero y lo tenemos. Have you tried it? First, I use air-dry clay to shape jellyfish with a hole in the center. I let it dry completely and then prepare the mixture: water, aquamarine acrylic paint, and a few drops of dish soap to create foam. I blow a little through a straw and then add bubbles to the jellyfish, letting them dry completely. We thread some ribbon or raffia through the hole, and there you have it! DIY marcapáginas encaje reciclado ♻️ ¿No crees que nunca tenemos suficientes marcapáginas? Como lectora que soy sé que es así 😅 Por eso aquí te dejo una idea sencilla reciclando un retazo de encaje. Primero lo he encolado con un pincel y dejado secar completamente. Una vez seco me ayudo de moldes para dibujar dos siluetas y recortar. Un palito de madera pintado en color blanco nos sirve de soporte. Adherimos una forma al palito por la parte trasera y después la otra por encima con silicona. Así de simple. As a reader myself, I know that's true 😅 That's why I'm sharing a simple idea using a recycled piece of lace. First, I glued it with a brush and let it dry completely. Once dry, I used stencils to draw two shapes and cut them out. A wooden stick painted white serves as the base. I attached one shape to the back of the stick and then the other on top with silicone. It's that simple.
