One of the best parts of living in Evergreen is getting to watch the elk roam through town. But remember—we’re in their home.

Give them plenty of space, never approach or feed them, keep dogs under control, and pull completely off the road if you stop to watch. Especially during the rut, admire these incredible animals from a safe distance and let them stay wild.

A little respect goes a long way toward keeping both people and wildlife safe.
