Mermaid 🏳️‍🌈🧜🏾‍♀️ vs GHOSTFACE 👻🔪 Featuring @newvillagebraid 💆🏽‍♀️

🧜🏾‍♀️ What happens when one of the most infamous Halloween figures, GHOSTFACE, calls @themermaidrayshell during Halloween 😂👻

💆🏽‍♀️ As soon as @newvillagebraid sent their Non Toxic, Anti Itch, Anti Bacterial and Pre Stretched braid hair in different colors to @themermaidrayshell, I knew she was in trouble! The person behind this GHOSTFACE mask won’t stop until they get their hands on it… or Mermaid RayShell first!!! Make sure y’all hit them for some amazing hair!

🩸I might be fighting for my life, but at least my braids are giving EVERYTHING they’re supposed to give! 😂💁🏾‍♀️

🧜🏾‍♀️✨Shoutout to @newvillagebraid for keeping this mermaid looking good, even in a horror movie! 🧜🏾‍♀️✨

🥤 And I love how my favorite @drinkolipop survived!

Mermaid Hoe Era because I love Women and Men’s Balls 🧜🏾‍♀️🏀

🧜🏾‍♀️🏀 BASKETBALL BALLS as in Basketball Games ya nasties 😂😉😏

🏀✨ Flew to Atlanta to catch GAME 4 of the Atlanta Dream vs Valks! Yal know I love my Dream Girls and Baby A. Even though they lost, it still was lit! I had the Terrace Suite Seats at @statefarmarena & let me tell you… it was definitely worth it! Okay State Farm y’all did y’all big one!

✨🏀 So I def had tickets to the Rockets game because I wanted to see my team BALL! But I had to spend time with my family and had a 6am flight back home to make it to my mom’s Breast Cancer Program! BUT don’t worry, more balls soon!

FORGOT MY LUBE! Now I can’t get it on! 🧜🏾‍♀️

🧜🏾‍♀️✨Decided to get some MERMAID practice in MY FIRST TAIL! Went down to this beautiful pool at THE YARD Hotel and realized I forgot my LUBE…🫣😱

🧜🏾‍♀️ Listen! Getting this tail on is NOT easy! Especially when you’re by yourself 😂 I learned that we can use some lubricant to rub on our *non existent human legs* to get our tails on! However, I forgot mine 😂

🧜🏾‍♀️ But once I get my tail on, we swim!!! Watch til the end! I’m getting better! 🥹

🏨 One of my favorite things about @littlebighotels THE YARD is their Indoor Pool! Sitting right under a Sunroof, this pool can be used until 10pm! You can come in here no matter the weather outside! It feels so good! And this area also comes equipped with a sauna and showers! Talk about super relaxation!!!

🧜🏾‍♀️✨ What do you guys think? You like my new tail?! How about how it looks in the pool? We just have to figure out a way to get this on faster before they realize I actually have legs! 😭🫣🧜🏾‍♀️✨

Black Women & Diving: DeDe Hardeman on Cost, Hair & Fear of the Water ✨🧜🏾‍♀️ Interview & Article Write up with @sevenseas_media 🦈

🧜🏾‍♀️✨ Y’all… honestly, when I first started diving, it was to cure my anxiety. And because I’m DeDe 😂 I like to do crazy things! I want to swim with sharks, listen to dolphins talk and apparently keep finding new ways to get myself in the water. 🌊😂

🧜🏾‍♀️✨ I NEVER imagined diving would start changing my life the way it has.

📖 @sevenseas_media did this beautiful piece on me talking about how I got into diving, the disparity of swimming in our communities, the fear of the water, and something I don’t think we talk about enough: Black hair and getting in the water.

🤿 We talked about what it costs to learn, what it takes to get certified, why so many Black women never get the opportunity to dive, and my journey from to becoming a freediver, scuba diver AND a mermaid. 🧜🏾‍♀️

📕 And yes… they also gave y’all a little HINT about my new book:

📚 GET IN THE D*MN WATER. 🌊

🏊🏾‍♀️ I’m also building something in the aquatics space. 👀Something that I hope gets more people in the water, around the water and experiencing the water in completely different ways. I can’t say too much yet…

🌊 But GET IN is about to mean a whole lot more than a book. 👀🌊

🦈 Thank you soooo much @sevenseas_media for telling this part of my story so beautifully. ❤️

What do you do when you break your phone in Berlin? You go MERMAID SWIMMING! Duh 🧜🏾‍♀️✨ Second slide is how Mermaids look from the sky 😍✨❤️

🏨 The pool at @littlebighotels THE YARD was big enough for my mermaid tail! And thank all the staff for making sure I was able to get around with a phone! 😂

📲 How did I even break my phone you ask? I’ll tell you later! 😂😭 Right now just enjoy me in my new Mermaid tail and this orange on some brown skin 😍❤️✨

The YARD by @littlebighotels 🏨 Luxury vibes for $76/night! And guess what? My community gets 5% off with the code 🚨 DEDE5 🚨

✨ Now I’m one of those people when I travel, the room DOES matter! The POOL most of all 🧜🏾‍♀️✨ And my favorite place to stay in Berlin was THE YARD by little BIG Hotels!

🛌 Between the beds being comfortable enough for me and my Mermaid Tail, their infamous breakfast living up to its name, the pool being there for me night or day, or the staff being BEYOND helpful when I broke my phone and had no way to contact anyone (shaking my own head lol), it was one of my favorite spots during my hectic FIBA schedule!

✨ If you want to learn my about my stay and read about my crazy time in Berlin, visit my website HouseofHardeman and visit my new blog, DeDe’s Journal ✍🏾 LINK IN BIO ❤️
