Looking for a boost in your business? Start here.

This is a longer post and a shout-out to two women, but if you’ve been doing everything on your own and need a push, keep reading.

After attending the Build Her event, I signed up for the 60-day Build Her Growth Lab with @dedicatedwithmonika and @ashleighofford

To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect. But I felt a push to invest some time and money into my business for the final stretch of the year. My main focus was visibility and building my pipeline.

At our final dinner, they asked what we got out of the experience. The first thing I said was a mindset shift. The second was accountability.

Those might sound like small things. I can change my own mindset. I can hold myself accountable. I’ve always been driven and motivated.

But I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to get outside of your own feedback loop. To get help from people who are in your corner, building things you want to build, and bringing perspectives from inside and outside your industry.

Monika and Ashley put their heart and soul into supporting the business owners they work with. They know a lot, they’ve done a lot, and they’re always striving to be better themselves.

I barely took any content because we were too busy actually talking to people 😂 but this was such a good room.

Delano and I had the opportunity to be an expert table at Marketing & Martinis, talking all things taxes, travel, sales, and growing teams.

So many great conversations, new connections, and we even got to send someone home with a getaway. ✈️🤎

I know what it feels like to be in the beginning-of-motherhood trenches, questioning everything and wondering if you’re doing any of it right.

And truthfully, it took me about five years to finally start feeling normal again.

Not like the old version of me, because motherhood changed me. But like I can finally recognize myself again. I can enjoy being a mom and still be Monika. I can have goals, friendships, interests, get dressed, go out, create, and do things that make me feel like me without feeling guilty about it.

So if you’re still in that stage where you feel a little lost in motherhood, give yourself grace.

You’re still in there. 🤎
