REAPER EARTH. Thanks again Jake for giving a proper home to this design from another one of my “failure to launch” flash sheets. This piece seemed appropriate to share for Earth Day 2026 - like, cool doomsday timeline bro, where’d you get that from, the toilet store? There are an elite few who have collected pieces from flash sheets that technically don’t fully exist, and that seems somehow fitting while we wander this dreamscape. The days of late sure do feel surreal, stay safe everyone and may we all work together toward a healthier and happier world. taken in Northampton, Massachusetts by @dedleg

SCREAMING FOR A SMOKE. I was going to post this “Smoking Hand” yesterday for the holiday but then I… wait, didn’t somebody write a song about this? Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the 420 festivities if you partake in my personal favorite plant, and thanks again Lee for picking up this flash that I drew back in 2018! We tattooed this one in 2024 on a 90 degree day in the old shop. Happy to report the new shop has much more effective central air conditioning. Scroll through for a couple healed shots of a seraphim we did on Lee’s wrist earlier that year, based on a sketch I had done for a flash sheet that never got finished, and my shading study for the Smoking Hand design. Thanks again Lee for picking up some of my originals. Trippy twists on classic imagery from skateboarding, biker culture, and cartoons are some of my favorite things to tattoo, right alongside esoteric, mystical, and spiritual subject matter. I’m taking on limited projects at the moment while I dedicate most of my time to in-progress work that requires a lot of drawing, but I’ve always been keen to tattoo more seraphim & do some more stylistic exploration with that motif. Email d@dedleg.com with inquiries or questions, and I apologize to anyone for the response time sometimes as I have a way of getting carried away with the work week. Thanks to everyone following along, collecting, and supporting the work. taken in Northampton, Massachusetts by @dedleg

SUPER ESOTERIC. Finally got some semi decent photos of my last drawing from 2025 thanks to the ample sunshine we’ve been enjoying the past couple days. After weeks of single digits that shit feels like the warmth of god raining down onto the material plane from the heavens. On that note, this drawing is a combination of the Kabbalistic Tree Of Life diagram and the iconic “Super S” möbius strip scribbled by school kids the world over. I have a lot of fun finding and exploring the connections between ancient occult and spiritual symbols and images, and their contemporaries in more modern iconography made popular in subcultures like cannabis, skateboarding, motorcycles, and of course American traditional tattooing! If anyone would like a tattoo of this design I’d be hyped to do it, or any other wild flips of esoteric and “classic” imagery. Email d@dedleg.com if you’d like to set something up. Other than that I think I’ll be holding onto this original for a minute and will hopefully have some merch out for all my fellow esoterrorists sooner than later. taken in Northampton, Massachusetts by @dedleg

TIMELINE TRIPPER. One of my favorite projects from 2025 was this tattoo rendition of my “Timeline Wanderer” drawing for Cory, redrawn to fit the spot and done up in a new color way. Swipe to check out an Escher-inspired isometric cityscape and a healed psychedelic timepiece I did on Cory a few years ago as well. Thanks again @blip_glass for picking up so many cool pieces!

Looking at these photos has me missing the old studio. Even though I’m grateful to be in our new spot & out of downtown Greenfield, admittedly I’ve been in a weird limbo space since we moved in, almost like waiting for the other shoe to drop after spending most of last year in survival mode. January has felt surreally long with a mixture of big projects and frequent rescheduling amidst a rapidly decaying sense of safety within American society and a particularly grueling cold season. Nonetheless, the new studio is starting to feel like home, and a relatively safe haven while I watch the outside world every day with a mixture of dread and tepid hope. I’m sure most are feeling the financial squeeze and overall uncertainty these days, and it’s been hard to promote artwork in the face of widespread state violence. I suppose I hope my tattoo practice can bring some excitement, lightness, and an increased feeling of autonomy to my clients and anyone looking at my work, now when those feelings need to be cultivated and cared for perhaps more than ever. As such, I am eager to get some exciting new projects on the books for this spring. Perhaps enough creativity and devotion to our communities can incur a great thaw, as it were. Email d@dedleg.com or DM to set up a time to swing by the new studio and talk tats - I’m regularly tattooing Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, with consult availability randomly dispersed across those days most weeks & have additional consult availability on Wednesdays. Let’s get some cool new ink on ya before the summer is in full swing. taken in Northampton, Massachusetts by @dedleg

I drew this little flower back in October for @trikki , my lovely partner’s birthday, but I’ve been meaning to share it and it felt like a good image to send off the year with. Despite incredible difficulty and, at times, despair, in its final act, 2025 really did sort of come together as some kind of strange poetry. Seeds planted over the past several years have weathered the seasons and the storms, and new growth is finally beginning to bloom. I’d love to do some tattoos inspired by this style in the coming year, combining colorful psychedelic trad or folk floral elements with bold black ornamental work. If anyone’s interested, email d@dedleg.com with any tattoo inquiries or questions. Thank you to all who helped Casper and I plant new roots in Northampton after a few years a little ways up the road, and thanks to all who showed up and supported us throughout the Greenfield era. And thanks to all the artists, new and old, and machine builders making something cool out there and staying inspired, because that shit’s inspiring to me and helps me to keep showing up as well. Looking forward to seeing all the cool artwork we can make in 2026 ✌️🌻🎇 taken in Northampton, Massachusetts by @dedleg

Made a little photo grid carousel of my favorite finished projects from 2025, one for each month. Check out my latest reel for accompanying video documentation if you’re interested, but based on the average view time of 3 seconds, I wanted to give these pieces a little more airtime. I’ll probably make a proper post to show these off better at some point, but given my irregular, perpetually tardy posting frequency, and my tendency to get swept away with new projects, it seemed like a good idea to spend a moment or two appreciating the mountains we’ve climbed in the last year. Congratulations if you still have an attention span of any kind as we head into 2026, you are part of an incredibly small, elite, and highly-feared portion of the population. Thank you for fighting on behalf of humanity, and thanks to all who are still supporting working artists or working to make art themselves. The world hungers for our creativity, let’s make sure it gets fed next year 🌎🎭🎨⚒️🏴‍☠️ taken in Northampton, Massachusetts by @dedleg

2025 was a lot of things, and it was too easy to lose track of all the good things that were happening and get swept away by all the stressors. I’ve been feeling reflective these past few days, so I made a supercut with my favorite finished project from each month from the past year. Thank you to everybody who got tattooed at The Wanderer this year, especially everyone working on a large ongoing project, and extra special thanks to all who supported our drawn-out and extraordinarily stressful move to Northampton. 2025 was a particularly hectic, difficult year, and it felt like most of it was consumed by the move while I feverishly tried to keep up with my tattoo workload. It often felt like tattooing and artwork fell to the background of my focus, but it’s encouraging to look back at the year’s projects and still see so much work that I’m jazzed about, and that is also consistent and indicative of the direction I’ve been pushing my tattoos toward, particularly since opening the studio in back 2022. Three years have blown by like sand in the wind, but looking back it’s quite clear how much growth and progression has been occurring all the while. Thank you to all who have been supportive and excited about exploring and collecting visionary tattoo work, especially throughout what has been an extremely challenging year for so many. Thank you to my love Nikki, and to my best friend & business partner Casper and their partner Scott for rallying together to finish off the studio move last month, without whom I almost certainly would have completely lost my shit. Thanks to my family for helping me keep my head above water a couple times there. And thank you to all who made the fantastic tools that made my job easier this year, particularly Nate Wilson, Awesome James, and Deke Harms. Thanks to all who are still burning a fire for tattooing in 2025 - perhaps it is true that the light glows brightest in the darkest times for those with eyes to see 🔥👁️🌌 See ya’ll in 2026 🌠 taken in Northampton, Massachusetts by @dedleg

THREE OF SWORDS 🗡️🗡️🗡️ Thanks Logan for asking me to do this adaptation of my drawing “In The Woods.” In a seeming turn of fate, we finished up this tattoo a year to the month of when I finished the original drawing. It was cool to try out a different color palette and switch things up a little for the tattoo version. I love doing customized takes on my original drawings and new versions of designs I’ve done before. And anything inspired by esoteric topics, tarot, myth/legend, and the realms of vision & dreams of course is more than welcome on my books. Email d@dedleg.com if you’ve got tattoo dreams you want to summon into the material plane ✨ by @dedleg

FULL BLAST FOLK. Here are some bright folk floral flowers for Caroline from last year. Thank you Caroline for picking up so many cool projects over the years. Folk floral compositions are some of my favorite things to tattoo and they can fit practically any placement, so, if you’ve been thinking about inquiring about something like this in either black & gray or color, send an email to d@dedleg.com and let’s get your project started! Swipe all the way to the end to see these healed up if you’ve been wondering how these bright pigments heal. It’s been a point of focus for the past several years to dial in my pigment selection and application of the brightest, richest, most radiant tones that saturate as quickly and easily as possible and heal bright, smooth and consistent. The longevity and visual strength of my tattoos are amongst the most important considerations for me in my craft, and learning what works and holds up best over time is a constant education as the years and tattoos go by. Thank you to all who have trusted in this work of devotion and have done their part to make stronger tattoos possible 💪🌸🤝 taken in Greenfield, Massachusetts by @dedleg

A BEAUTIFUL ACHE. Some themes and phrases Sara and I considered when we originally discussed this project were “heart-centered emergence,” “step into the light,” and “freedom is my destination.” I like using abstract themes to help inform the imagery and what feelings a piece should evoke, especially when designing more abstract or ornamental projects that don’t always have a solid object for their subject, as it were. Sara and I finished up her chest piece in May of 2024, but I think we started this sometime in Fall 2023, which now feels like a very long time ago. It almost seems like a different era, which I think speaks to the fact that we are walking through the threshold to a new one here at The Wanderer, and the themes Sara wanted to explore with this tattoo back in our early days now resonate with multifaceted meaning as we prepare to move into our new studio. Sara has been a very dedicated collector here, steadily working on some of the most memorable pieces to me personally throughout the years since we opened. I’m very grateful for her support and for so many opportunities to make tattoos that consistently push the limits of my stylistic explorations, and that have allowed me to explore and experiment with interesting ideas, aesthetics, and combinations of techniques. Thank you to all of my dedicated regulars who have given me so much creative freedom and the chance to make some extremely cool and exciting tattoos. If you’re interested in ornamental tattooing like this, or something with a combination of styles, color and/or illustrative work, I can make that happen! Email d@dedleg.com and let’s throw some ideas around and get your next tattoo project on the books. taken in Greenfield, Massachusetts by @dedleg

THE SLOW ROAD. Ballpoint, Posca paint pen, and Prismacolor pencil on cold press. Original for sale, $250. DM me if you’re interested or find the link to my webstore in my bio. Been working on this one in between tattoos for a few months, just chipping away a bit at a time. It’s only 7x5” but it’s been a weirdly busy and chaotic year. Seems like there’s something to be said for taking it slow when one still can, almost an act of protest in a society set to perpetually move faster, even if it’s in a dangerous direction. To me, this piece is a small embodiment of lessons around taking our time, being deliberate and discerning with our choices and actions, and taking a moment to reflect, and respond rather than react or rush.

In the spirit of the slow-going snail, I’ve had the idea of doing some tribal blackwork style snails in different shells and would love to do some tattoos based on this idea. I’m envisioning customized versions draw to fit any number of spots with maybe a variety of funky shells. Just throwing shit out there. I’m an idea man. If you wanna talk tat ideas, email d@dedleg.com and let’s get your project on the books! taken in Greenfield, Massachusetts by @dedleg

FULL COLOR FLORAL. Been meaning to post this tattoo for a long time - over two years apparently. Caroline and I finished this one up back in March of 2023. It feels like part of the first wave of tattoos here at The Wanderer, and it’s kind of stymying to think about how long ago that actually was, and how indicative this piece was of the direction my tattooing was going to develop into while working here. It’s weird to reflect back on how a few years ago I was primarily a black & gray / dotwork tattooer and how today those types of pieces are more rare for me to do than full color projects like this one. I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had these past few years to combine dotwork, geometric, and ornamental elements with the brightest and boldest color pigment I can find, and it’s been exciting to make some tattoos that feel like they can stand apart in a crowd a little bit. Thank you Caroline for trusting me, my vision, and my process, and thank you to all my regulars who have helped me explore this craft and try out some wild ideas along the way. taken in Greenfield, Massachusetts by @dedleg
